I purchased a birch clump in August 2029. Miles was very knowledgeable regarding proper care and offered a warranty. Should it not survive the first winter I would receive a replacement at no charter. Free bark shields were added. I’ll certainly go to them again for trees and shrubs.

This business right here is an ok place to go to if you are looking for plants, flowers shrubs etcetera. There is plenty of different varieties of flowers for you to choose from to put in your yard or around the house. I thought the plants were nicely taken care of. There are also located conveniently in the beginning of town

Northstar’s follow-up service from our last late 2023 summer project has been nonexistent. We were told last fall that plants that died right after they were planted would be replaced this spring and that the aggregate between our paver tiles would be replenished this spring. Our project manager refused to return to complete the project. He referred us to the business owner who has yet to respond. Essentially, this business does not stand by their work.

Stopped by the shop to see about having some work done at our home. Filled out a project request form with details of the project (replace polymeric sand around the stone on a covered front porch and walkway, repair pavers as needed - approximately 500 sq feet) and was told I would get a return call. After waiting 4 days, I called Northstar to see if they would be interested in doing the work. The answer was No, thank you. Explanation was that it was too labor intensive, they didn't have the resources, and not worth their time. Prior owners of our home said Northstar did all of the original work. I'm guessing the profit margins on labor are thin while the profit margins on landscaping materials is large. If you won't do the small jobs, why would I call you for more significant jobs to come in the future?

They have beautiful plants. They put a lot of work into making sure their plants are healthy and beautiful. They also have very fun styles of planters. Great place for your gardening needs.

I had some issues with a purchase. I sent many text to the manager, Rod, called in and emailed. Horrible horrible customer service. No response. I had to consistently keep calling. I finally was able to make it into town, and did get my issue, for the most part, worked out. The staff seemed nice and the flowers were beautiful!

Whenever we go here, the staff is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable on all questions related to gardening, supplies, irrigation, seasonal plants, etc. They also have reconstructed our retaining wall behind our house several years through their landscaping division. Definitely would recommend.
