I lived here for almost 3 years and I would recommend renting from ANYONE and I mean anyone else. Don’t live at a Newland property if you want a phone call back related to property maintenance, building security or anything really. To get ahold of them I needed to SPAM call the line before Melissa would answer what do you need in a frustrated tone. I would constantly be told by Blakley, the assistant manager that Keva, the property manager is the only one that can handle that “she’ll give you a call”. Guess who never received a call or follow up… ever? Our elevator would break constantly and would take over a month to fix, we had a homeless guy living in the basement storage area for a while (oh yeah they never told the residents about that just sent an email to watch people tailgating into the building), never responded to blood being all over our lobby, washers were constantly broke, dogs barking everywhere, pipes constantly breaking where they would email us not to use water for days on end. If you need to get anything done you have to harass the office - which is not enjoyable. You’d probably be treated better by management just squatting in the basement.

Typical corporate group that doesn’t care about anything except money. They don’t value their customers, I am living in their property called Ascent, the garage door which is supposed to be automatic with sensors fell on me and damaged my car. They could see everything in the security footage, and accepted that it happened and they would reimburse me for jt . When I asked for that information they said that it has to be through the insurance and despite asking for the details more than 20 times they haven’t given the insurance information to either me or my insurance.
What has been even more appalling is the building management’s complete lack of responsibility and support in addressing this issue. Despite multiple requests, they have failed to provide any insurance details or assistance to help cover the costs of the damage. This level of negligence and disregard for tenants is both shocking and unacceptable.

The absence of transparency and the reluctance to provide necessary insurance information demonstrate a profound lack of professionalism and care. It is clear that tenant safety and property maintenance are not priorities for this management team.

I strongly advise anyone considering moving into this building to think twice and be aware of the potential risks. If you value responsive management and accountability, this place will likely fall short of your expectations.

Rick (The Maintenance Supervisor) showed me the building. I can completely picture myself and my boys growing up in this potential new home. I was very impressed with the amenities included with this amazing location on Kilbourne.

I’ve been here for a little over 7 months now. I’ve not had any problems & the community is awesome! Mr. Gomes keeps the grounds and any minor issues in tip top shape. I’ve yet to have any major issues and any minor (my fault) problems, he handles on the spot.. with pure joy it seems, too. He’s one of kind just like this lil gem in walkers point!

Melissa Vrabel was super helpful and friendly during my two years living at a New Land Enterprise property. Anytime I reached out, she usually got back to me on the same day & was more than happy to help. Overall, New Land has great communication & responsiveness when to comes to contacting property managers, maintenance, etc.

I am so impressed with Blakley as our property manager! We are currently in the process of remodeling a home, so navigating a lease renewal at our apartment has been challenging with trying to time things out with moving out. Nova is a gorgeous property. Immaculately maintained, very clean. The units are laid out beautifully to maximize your space, and the walk-in closets are very well thought out. There is plenty of community space; I love that I can have my morning coffee in a comfortable space in the commons as opposed to my apartment. The outdoor pool is a very inviting space where there is plenty of seating, gas grills, beautiful flower beds. There are also 2 workout areas on-site, both spacious areas. This property is a diamond in downtown Milwaukee.

Go up
