Michael did a great job with our build! It’s a high end two story 2B/2Br around a great Sequoia to match the main home. The crew was careful and under arborist supervision hand dug and exposed the entire root system to preserve it. Concrete, structural steel and wood-clad windows all came together for an amazing indoor/outdoor downstairs. Michael did a good job liaising with the city, crews, architect, neighbors to keep the project moving without delays. We were able to quickly overcome the anticipated construction setbacks and get us to the finish line. The stucco crew were masterful craftsmen and so was the painter and the tilers. Finishing touches, layout, materials and surfaces all came together. Michael did not shy away from a very challenging build and delivered an excellent finished product. Recommended without hesitation.

If you’re looking for an excellent contractor for any project, look no further! Michael recently remodeled our fireplace/mantle and did a spectacular job from beginning to end. We weren’t sure what was possible with our space, but Michael led the way with knowledge and clear communication throughout. Michael, Pablo, and Marcos were great to work with. Michael is a clear communicator with attention to detail. He is absolutely trustworthy, honest and respectful. He has worked on multimillion dollar projects in the Bay Area, yet was willing to help us with some smaller projects, like transforming a garage and stairwell closet into a functional laundry room and half bath, retiling a leaking shower, and replacing all the siding on an ADU. They all go to great lengths to do the right thing, and to be helpful which was a huge relief during our move and many needs. We love his Irish accent and personality. Our little bit of Spanish speaking helped a lot with connecting with his workers. We appreciate his desire to ensure the best pricing and look forward to continuing to work with him in the future.

MT Higgins Construction has been absolutely fantastic to work with. Michael came in to do a foundation for our new garage, working closely with another contractor and the county. The permit had been blocked for some time, but with his persistence, the permit was issued in a couple of days, and within a week the foundation was poured and we’re ready for the next phase of that project. The work looks great and the site was left clean and tidy. I’m already talking with MT Higgins Construction about two larger projects.
