Working with the Morse team was an incredible experience! This summer we reached out to Morse to do a small scale kitchen renovation on our home here in Davis (new counters, backsplash, sink, under cabinet lighting, and replacing some cabinetry). They were able to deliver on a tight schedule - which was key because we are expecting a baby! It was super helpful to have assistance from the Morse design team with material selection, since they have the eye for style and guided us towards our vision. We highly recommend Morse to everyone in the area interested in personalizing their home!

We contracted with Morse to re-do two bathrooms in our house...the downstairs guest bath and the upstairs master bath. Marty Morse and his team was an absolute pleasure to work with, start to finish. And they were very accommodating of my unusual plan that I would build all the cabinetry. I had a very specific vision for the cabinetry so that it would blend well with other furniture pieces I had built earlier for the master bedroom.

The guest bath was a standard shower-in-a-tub design. We wanted the tub removed and a stall shower built in its place. The master bath had a small stall shower and a giant Jacuzzi tub that we have not used for years because it wastes too much water. We wanted it removed, a nicer, larger stall shower built in, the vanities moved to the the other side of the room, and a large bay window removed.

The design team of Ricardo and Kathy was really outstanding and helped us develop a floor plan that met our vision. And once they understood the wood selections I had in mind for the cabinets, they greatly aided and simplified the selections of tile and counter tops. The lead carpenter on our project, Ron Base, oversaw all aspects of the work and was a wealth of information. Besides being incredibly skilled, he was a really nice guy with a great sense of humor. He was a joy to work with throughout the project.

I was also very impressed with the trade’s people they brought in to do the plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, stucco, tile setting and painting. The people who did the tile work (there was a team of two people) worked steadily for almost two full weeks and I consider them nothing less than artists.

I have included a series of before-and-after photos to show the transformation.

The highest compliment I can pay to the Morse team is that they were so good, we're going to have hem back next year to re-do our kitchen. And we know before we even start, it will be spectacular!

We wanted to add an outdoor room to the back of our house. Morse Custom Homes and Remodeling helped us design it, and then built it.

The designers, Diana and Ricardo, were excellent. They were meticulous and explained both their suggestions and the reasons behind them. They were very good at incorporating our ideas and thoughts.

As for the construction, Morse did a great job of building the outdoor room. The quality of the work was wonderful. And Marty Morse is a pleasure to work with; he knows his stuff, and how to manage the work.

All in all, we are very happy with both the process and the result. Kudos to Marty and his staff -- the quality shows they love what they do!

I have had two major remodels with Morse. One was an upstairs additon with special attention to making my home energy efficient. The second was a complete remodel of the kitchen and converting a bathroom to be have disabled access throughout including the shower. Both jobs were completed better than I could have imagined. We are very happy with our master bathroom recently remodeled by Marty Morse and his team.
Kathy Ho, the designer, was very attentive to our needs and came out with three projects for us to choose the one best suited to our wishes and budget.
The lead carpenter, Steve Oglesbee, was extremely knowledgeable and always came to work with a positive attitude and a smile. All the trades people who did the plumbing, electrical wiring, gas line, tile setting, cupboards and painting were very skilled, experienced and did quality work.
The remodeling took two months. During this time we went on a European vacation and using the Buildertrend program we were able to see pictures showing the work in progress and check what they were doing every day.
The work was finished on the scheduled time and the final outcome exceeded our expectations.
