Midwest roofing and construction llc installed New construction flat roof on new addition on r house in summer 2016. Was a $300,000 home renovation project...... roof has been leaking with documentation ever since spring 2017. .... In spring of 2017 at the time of the first reported leak we were told by representative that it is very difficult to find a leak on flat roofs, and that we will have to monitor it until we are certain of where it is. After Two years of leaking frustrations, monitoring,multiple conversations and exchanges,& just blatantly being put off we,were told this August 2019 by Doug Wagner (owner?)the person that we had been working with no longer works for them, and that the workmanship warranty was only good for one year, & had expired ....wow!! rite!! one year craftsmanship warranty? What a joke.
I have documentation of the roof leaking and asking to repair the leaking roof for the last two years,& clearly within there substandard warranty time. Also Worth noting that this is first review of any kind I have ever written in my life, sadly all should know this experience .....In addition the avg standard craftsmanship warranty’s in the roofing biz is five years...... Google it. Thank God the general contractor We hired is reputable and is working with us to resolve this nightmare problem.... we will be seeking counsel.

I've been waiting for years for them to come back and finish my roof! My gutters till don't line up with my new steel roof! They moved them while roofing and still haven't moved them to the correct position! Also still waiting for rain & snow avalanche preventer - steel strips to be put on! I spoke with estimater right after they finished roofing & he promised they'd come back soon to finish my roof! HOW MUCH LONGER DO I HAVE TO WAIT!?! Very unprofessional, unreliable, owner/management!

Doug and Midwest Roofing did an exceptional job restoring our Rilco Rafter gothic-arch barn. This iconic barn in Whitewater ceased dairy operations in the late 1990s and over the past 30 years had been slowly deteriorating. We were faced with cracking foundations and a sagging roofline due to rot damage and poor structural modifications, and a roof with dozens of leaks which created rot in the hay loft flooring.

Midwest roofing made expert repairs to the foundation, restored the structural integrity of the wooden portions of the barn and roof support, and installed a metal roof. This work was done in the dead of winter and the quality of construction is simply outstanding.

Doug Fowler's communications was frequent and he clearly set expectations for the project's scope, cost, and duration. More important, Doug was prompt with communication when circumstances beyond his control affected the project timeline. In some cases this was when weather prevented work to be done as it would have put his employees at risk (high winds, extreme cold, heavy snow) and supply chain issues due to the COVID pandemic.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Midwest Roofing and Construction. The combination of the quality of the work and Doug's quality of communication resulted in a completed project that exceeded our expectation.

Don was very responsive to looking at the damaged roof. Helped with out with insurance and got the job done before closing on a house in two weeks time. They also completed the roof in one day.
