We bought a house in Tarzana and needed multiple updates. A friend recommended MDH to us after they did some amazing work at their house. We had a meeting with David who we liked immediately. He gave us practical suggestions and steered us away from things that were unessary. Project started and what was impressive to us what the constant communication and the line up of skilled professionals from plumbers, electricians, painters, countertop fabricators. Non were generalists which meant you just got the best in their category. Lia was running opertions in the back office and she was wonderful, answering every question promptly. We also had to take a trip in the middle of it all and they were flexible to accomodate us. I am amazed we got the A team but almost felt that your friends were working at your house. They geniously cared and we totally trusted what they recommended. We are already planning our 2025 projects!

We have been wanting to remodel a Condo in West Hollywood for 7 years. Our son finally agrees. Mostly a new kitchen, new master bathroom & guest bathroom. Also needed Removing the cottage cheese off the ceiling with asbestos.
We begin interviewing 10 companies & it was very discouraging. Some wanted us to be purchase the all the equipment needed for a remodel which was not at all acceptable. Some did not want to work with the HOA and some charged outrageous prices.
But we were blessed to have found David, John & Lia at MDH BUILDERS.
David & Our son instantly connected. They carried the same vision. David presented him with great ideas for the bathrooms. Very modern with industrial feel in this Condo. It was incredible that David would present different tiles & options for Eric in each room & David hit it right every time. John was David’s left hand & worked well with my son & I. But I had the great pleasure to work with Lia, who always answered our questions or find out what you need. She explained the invoices if I had questions. I feel Lia’s like a friend now.
I have had 5 remodel projects since 2014 and I know how difficult it is to work with so many different people with different ideas. But working directly with Lia was so reassuring things would get done or our request will be presented, since we lived out of town for the remodel. We did come to condo 2 to 3 times month. We are so impressed & are so very happy we chose MDH BUILDERS.
Lia even helped me find a mover to remove furniture & store it with great prices. It’s very scary trusting someone you do not know to take your furniture & not know if it will all make it back home safely. But it did & very professionally done. Lia also found me a company to install custom made closets. So thrilled we did it custom, it’s amazing! The kitchen came out so beautiful, efficient & every space with great storage. David & John would price shop with quality items & gave us their thoughts & our options. Both the bathrooms have unique brilliant style.
All the doors were replaced with stylish unique modern look with door handles.
A separate tech room was set up & so efficient.
A hall closet/ broom closet became the
Coffee / Tequila Bar. That was Custom built & absolutely gorgeous! Much more lighting now, much more storage.
I could go on & on with all the creative ideas & how beautifully they came out.
Hiring MDH BUILDERS with David & John & Lia will be the best decision we made!!

We had our 1955 kitchen remodeled and we were so worried about not having our kitchen for a long time, but owner David assured us that it would be completed in 6 weeks. Six weeks later, we were in our beautiful, new, modern kitchen. Now it’s the favorite room in our house. Thank you MDH.

We have really enjoyed working with David and MDH for a remodel of our house. During the entire process David was completely available. Our family was living in the house during the construction and he made sure to respect our space and to check in with us daily. We had major issues with our architect, who we worked with prior to David, and David and Lia, his assistant, took over and kept our project moving. I think any other contractor would have stalled and left us high and dry. They are a power team and we felt comfortable and supported teh entire time. David was at our house almost daily and he is extremtly punctual...which I hear is not usual. He always answered our phone calls and continues to support is in finishing our yard. Overall, I would highly recommend David and MDH. I would do another project with them in a heartbeat. They are wonderful to work with and we are very happy with our home

MDH did an excellent job on our primary bathroom and kitchen. It was so easy working with David and Lia. They are very responsive, and David was in touch with us every day to make sure we were happy with everything. David even went with me to look at tile when I couldn't decide on a design. I will definitely reach out to them again for future projects.

We used MDH Builders for a remodel of our 900 sq ft pool house. They did a great job, completed on time and within the estimated budget, with good communication throughout the project. They also contributed a number of good design ideas during both the planning and construction stages. Work was high quality - we passed every inspection with no problems. Finishes are great and MDH was very supportive after completion with some minor follow up and touch up items. All in all, a great experience working with them and I highly recommend them.

MDH Builders installed a new roof in our house.
My wife and I are very happy not only because we needed this, but because these guys where so professional, and they did a terrific job.
Hard working people. they earned every penny.
Very polite staff and the office manager was so communicative.
She was always on top of it from the beginning until the end of the project.
Highly recommend them to anyone in the need of any roof repairs.
