I do NOT recommend this one at all. He left a ton of nails in the yard after pulling up the forms and left a pile of gravely watery concrete mix in the front yard. When I contacted him about this he was apologetic but refused to come back to clean up after himself. When I contacted him about standing water on the driveway (I paid for a graded driveway) he blamed it on the builders who built my house 60 years ago about why he didn't get the job done correctly.
I will actually recommend that people stay away from this guy. He will show up unannounced and leave a mess for you to clean up.

We hired Jon MCleney with McCleney Contractors to remove our old driveway and replace with new concrete. Upon completion of the $15,000 project, there were issues with the craftsmanship of the expansion joints and poor quality of the overall concrete finish.

We reached out to Jon to correct these issues. He became angry when questioned about the craftsmanship of the project, hung up the phone, and blocked our telephone number. It was only after calling from a completely different number that our call was answered. He agreed to come out and fix the expansion joints.

Almost one month later, he arrived to fix the joints, used two different colors of sealer, and left the trash from materials used in our yard.

We have worked with many contractors on many different projects over the years. We can say with all certainty we have never been treated in such a childish and unprofessional manner.

If you are in the market for a contractor, I wholeheartedly suggest you look further than Jon McCleney and McCleney General Contractors. His attitude, childneshness, and unprofessionalism made working with him a most unpleasant experience.
