I am a Vietnam veteran, I share that for two reasons. First, to say this isn’t the first house that I have had built in my 7+ decades and second, I favor doing business with veteran owned businesses, which this is. It has been 5 years since this house was built on the Fish River, in the flood plain and with all the challenges associated with building there. We chose this business because we wanted to be able to build to the insurance industry’s Gold Standard here on the Gulf Coast, this business was certified to do that. Our building experience with Mark Keel and his staff was superb. Sure we had problems to solve given our location but Mark and his employees were very responsive and available whenever we needed them. And while we were building, we made a variety of changes to our original plan as we saw how things were coming together and we never had one hesitation from Keel’s folks to respond to our desires. Our building experience was by far the best that we ever had. Today as I write this, it has been one week since Hurricane Sally slammed into Baldwin County. My bride and I rode out the storm with 105 mph winds whipping the community. Not once did we feel threatened nor did our house (built up on pilings) move with the wind. This was our first named storm since we moved in and we are so happy that we chose to build to the Gold Standard. Homes around us did suffer damage but our only loss was one down spout that got blown off our gutter system. Thank you Mark Keel for you attention to detail and professionalism in working with us, your house survived this storm with flying colors!

Superior construction, everything on time, easy to work with, and finished to my expectations. Wonderful work crews! Everything is perfect and Mark didn’t leave until I was perfectly satisfied.
