During my seven years as a landlord with MPI Property Management, I encountered a significant maintenance issue that highlighted their unprofessionalism and lack of responsiveness.

Leaky Pipe: There was a leaky pipe inside the bedroom wall, which was a serious concern.

Water Shut Off: The water was completely shut off by the HOA due to this issue.

Plumbing Company's Visit: MPI sent a plumbing company to replace the leaky pipe the next day.

Incomplete Repair: However, the plumbing company left the wall ripped through, exposing it to potential insects, rodents, and mold.

Lack of Response: Despite numerous calls and emails, MPI failed to take action to repair the wet wall with big holes.

Request for Report: MPI insisted that the plumbing company send a work completion report before they could request wall repair.

Failure to Obtain Report: Despite my efforts, MPI did not actively pursue obtaining the report, requiring my constant intervention.

Delayed Report Submission: Due to my persistent calls, they finally obtained the report about 7-8 days later.

Board Approval Delay: The wall repair request could only be submitted to the Board Members after obtaining the report.

Negligence: The board meeting was canceled on 2/15, but MPI did not send a work request to the board, leaving the wet and exposed wall untreated.

Lack of Communication: Despite contacting the person in MPI who is in charge of my condo and writing to the supervisor, there was no response or action taken.

Uncooperative Attitude: When I called the supervisor, he was uncooperative and abruptly wanted to end the conversation, showing a lack of concern for the situation.

My experience with MPI Property Management regarding this maintenance issue has been extremely disappointing.

Their failure to promptly address and resolve the problem, as well as their unresponsive and uncooperative attitude, reflects poorly on their professionalism and commitment to tenant satisfaction.
I would strongly caution against hiring MPI based on my experience.

Very disappointed in the customer service with this management company. We're reaching 7 years and not once have we had a positive experience where are concerns were addressed in a timely manner. There are NO delays in drafting that automatic payment every month but every call and email concern is left delayed or without a response. We have to send multiple messages for the same issues. No one seems to value the health or life safety of the homeowners. It's extremely frustrating. And very disappointing that MPI advertises to be the best. No idea how they are ranked #1.

This is not a “PROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT”
They shouldn’t represent any properties. They are incredibly incompetent and super slow to answer questions or even respond. If negative star is available I wouldn’t hesitate to provide. Don’t make a mistake and use their service. Keep away and find another management company that are willing to help and work with owners. Again, KEEP AWAY FROM THIS INCOMPETENT SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT
