LOVE brunch! Nice location, lovely atmosphere.
We ordered a few of their zero proof drinks... really fun! However, a bloody mary is a must at brunch. The bloody mary was good, but not as spicy as I had hoped. We had the french toast, really good. The brisket sandwich, filling and delicious. The chilaquiles are always a fan favorite, but these are not the 'normal' chilaquiles. They actually tasted sweet. Likely will select something else next time. Service was a bit slow, but had a good time anyway!!

Love this little wine country gem! Beautiful spot in Dayton with everything you could want - amazing food, stellar service, and all the vibes. Step off the idyllic town square into the rustic brick and wood oasis of Loam. We have stopped in multiple times for brunch and it seems to get better each time. They excel in the farm-to+table methodology and take it step further with foraged mushroom options (in season). Their loaded toasts and benedicts are top notch, and they manage to elevate even the simplest of breakfast foods - the pancake. Wonderful pastries. Delicious local coffee. Affordable kids menu. Lots of options for every palette. And to top it off, ample seating - we've never had to wait for a table, but it's never dead either. I highly recommend you move this to the top of your list for your next brunch out.

Today was my first trip to Loam, and I was impressed. The service was awesome! We had a super attentive server who hung out to chat about the place when she had time, told us the history of the bar, and talked about the local farm suppliers. Having worked in food service in restaurants, breweries, and pubs for many years, I have really high standards for good service. She nailed it! She answered my questions about the menu, made suggestions, checked back after our food came, our water was refilled, and plates were cleared. Those plates!! 😍 Such beautiful China - every tiny detail shows how much love is put into this place.
The red potatoes were AMAZING! I ordered a side of the potatoes, two well-cooked eggs that came out perfectly, and a chive biscuit. My boyfriend got the brisket sandwich with a salad. He said the sandwich was delicious. The dressing on the salad was delightful as well. I happily enjoyed my Flag & Wire cappuccino while waiting for brunch.
The menu has lots of creative, lovely offerings that any foodie will enjoy. I would have liked to see a vegetarian offering to satisfy a more traditional, savory breakfast craving, but I was happy to order items a la cart. A vegetarian gravy with those DELICIOUS biscuits would be on point!! 🔥
The interior is warm and inviting and has a sort of rustic, industrial type vibe, but beautifully decorated. The bathroom was clean and had fun decor.
I'm looking forward to going back to try their dinner menu and cocktails!
Overall, we really enjoyed brunch, and I highly recommend giving Loam a visit anytime you're in the area.
It's also fully wheelchair accessible! 🙌
Cheers!!

I was visiting from Ashland, Oregon to see an old friend in Dayton. When he suggested we have breakfast here I was skeptical, but I was blown away by Loam. This place is not what you would expect in this area: the food is phenomenal. Most ingredients are made in house, their house cured and smoked bacon is something special, and much of the produce is sourced locally. Everything is made with high quality ingredients and cooked well. The interior is beautiful and the staff were wonderful. I will visit again any time I see my friend.

This place is AMAZING! I’ve come for brunch many times and the food never disappoints. I finally got to try dinner and I was completely blown away by the locally sourced food, the flavors, and how beautifully plated our meals were. Plus Zach was fun to talk to and made it a great experience. I wish I could eat here everyday.

The quality of the service was great! The fact that it was only one floor staff there at open slowed things down bit the wait was perfectly reasonable. The food however while pretty good was absolutely not worth the price. Im so happy they have local produce of all kinds, you could taste the freshness truly, but the food itself was of a lower caliber total. 26$ for burnt bottom flavorless pancakes was just... not seeming worth it the more I ate. And my party agreed with all their dishes as well. Good, but lacking. If the maple fried chicken with pancakes was say even 18$ Id probably say go for it! But unfortunately I think they need to re-evaluate recipes or something
