In April 2021, I hired LGBuilders to replace my roof. I had a terrible experience. They were extraordinarily unprofessional. They made many mistakes causing the job, which was estimated to take 10 days, over 4 months to complete. A year later I have a leaking roof. They also urinated in my yard multiple times, left garbage including beer cans and did shoddy work that needed to be replaced or repaired multiple times. They cut corners to save pennies. I do not recommend them and would avoid giving them your business.

Finding a good and trusting contractor is not easy and LG Builders is one of them. I used LG to remodel my kitchen and a master bathroom and I’m very happy with the results. From the beginning Leo treated us like a family. Living in a construction zone is no fun but LG Builders made it possible. The workers always cleaned after themselves at the end of each work day and were nice and friendly. I started with just the kitchen and the master bathroom remodel and then added a new roof, tankless water heater and a new upgraded electric panel. They also replaced all the single pane windows with new energy efficient double pane windows. I’m very happy with all the upgrades. Leo pulled all the city permits and guided me through the entire process.
Leo and LG Builders are very easy to work with and well organized from beginning to end. I plan to use them for future projects. Thank you Leo and LG Builders!

LG Builders is probably the most honest you can get. Our house had a leak from an above balcony, which caused a whole heap of issues. We had multiple contractors come with various price estimates and decided to go with LG builders. We went with the company because of the honesty of Leo. He was very clear about the difficulty or lack there of of certain aspects of the construction. For example, we had a roof tile above the leak that needed to be repaired. Other companies tried charging us 5,000 for the repair, stating, "This is a very complex job." Leo came in, took a look, and said, "This is all of 5 minutes of work, I won't charge a client for something so small, It's no problem."

It's that type of honesty that we admired. When we contracted the company, the entire construction was finished in 2 weeks (this includes a holiday during the week, too). Leo would check in with the construction regularly, the work was clean, professional, and very well done.

One thing I liked specifically is that Leo's staff are his staff and not random day laborers. I like the fact that they are a predetermined staff I can trust around my home, and each of them treated my home with the utmost care and respect.

I am so happy to have found Leo and LG Builders. I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years and I can tell you that Leo is a gem. He's responsive, friendly, honest, does great work at a fair price and is just a general pleasure to work with. He's building an ADU from scratch and a complete remodel of our house (literally one wall left standing). These projects are long and can be really difficult. Leo has rolled with permitting issues, weather, inspections, engineering and other challenges with grace, speed and expertise. I thank my luck stars for him and LG Builders!

Exceptional ADU Construction Experience!
We recently had the pleasure of working with Leo and his company LG Builders to build a guest house on our property, and we are thrilled with the results.
From the moment we contacted LG Builders their professionalism and expertise were evident. The project began in March of 2023 and was completed by the end of June 2023 , that was earlier than it was scheduled, that greatly enhanced our overall satisfaction. The communication throughout the process was excellent, and we always felt well-informed about the project's progress.
The craftsmanship in every aspect of the ADU, from the foundation to the finishing touches, is of the highest quality. The design and materials used perfectly complemented the existing aesthetics of our property.
We appreciate how respectful they were of our property and how they adhered to safety protocols throughout the construction process.
The value for money is truly exceptional, considering the level of craftsmanship and the professionalism displayed by Leo and his team.

LG Builders (North Hollywood) installed the commercial doors to our building the year before last and there was no follow-through to make it look like a new door. There was spackle and filling coming out of both sides and we had them come back, but it still doesn't look professional. The front door had a big dent right from the get-go, so it was either bought second-hand or mishandled. The door has also never closed quite right and I emailed them this week to see if they could take a look and a few days later they came by without notifying anyone.

EDIT: It also doesn't appear that they're very tech savvy, as their response does not take into consideration that people can review different businesses across the country.

LG builders is such a great company exactly as described on their website. I'm thrilled with the way they renovated my kitchen ! I was speechless will definitely give them a call if I have any thing else come up. I could not be happier with my results ! Highly recommend.
