Steven Norton was an absolute pleasure to work with in the midst of a not-fun-yet-necessary foundation remediation project. He was specifically recommended by multiple unrelated foundation firms as I was getting quotes - and I see why. His remediation plans were precise and his communication was clear and quick. I was recommended to Chris Johnson at Level Engineering. We needed drawings fast and Chris got back to me within a couple hours. He couldn’t help but put me straight in touch with Rick Emerson. Rick was able to come out the next morning. He was professional and brought everything he needed to access our structural needs. He was able to get straight onto the drawings and had everything back within a couple days for us to submit for permits. I can’t say enough about this company. Straight shooters who are fair and fast. Will definitely use them again.

Scott and Murray were great! On time, thorough, very professional. They put my wife’s mind at ease. She’s been worried about our foundation for a while, and she was overjoyed to find out that the foundation on our 75 year old house is in good shape. They explained what the problems actually are, and had solid advice for us that are much less expensive than foundation repair. Thanks gentlemen!

In preparation for selling my condo, I had Chris look over some structural issues related to a balcony and a crack in the wall where the sliding glass door is. Chris was exceptionally thorough in his review and took the time to walk me through everything he was doing, what his concerns were, why, and provided potential solutions. He took the time to answer all my questions and shared his wealth of knowledge and experience. While no one wants to hear about issues that need attention, I’m glad to have Chris’ trusted evaluation as I look to sell and can prepare accordingly.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with the home inspection Scott and his team provided last week. We had been hearing “pops” at night as well as hearing floor “creaks when walking in different rooms. Wanting to make sure we didn’t have a foundation issue in our 22 year old home we had a company who specializes in this field inspect and provide us with an assessment. They said our house was perfectly level, but was moving vertically with the north and south walls and that for $47,000.00 they could solve the problem.
We decided to get a second opinion and we were extremely glad we did. After Level Engineering’s assessment by Scott and his team it was determined that there was no problem, and they suggested a humidifier which we do not have on our furnace might help.
Fearful for our the equity in our house as well as our safety, we were strongly considering spending whatever it took to secure the foundation.
We can’t emphasize how truly thankful we are that we contacted Level Engineering not only for saving us a substantial amount of money, but for the peace of mind we now have after utilizing their services!
We strongly recommend using Scott and his team anytime you have structural integrity issues about your home!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!

Level Engineering, Don Langeberg was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and experienced. We were looking to remove a kitchen/dinning room wall. Don helped us establish whether, the wall was load bearing. The report was detailed and accurate. Highly recommended! Superb!

I worked with Jay and he was very down to earth. I appreciated the way he was able to convert my layman concerns with my home's water drainage into a stamped report to provide back to the builder. Following the submission of the report my builder has actually listened to my concerns whereas before my pictures alone didn't motivate them.

Excellent service. I was worried about a crack in a seam between a wall and ceiling and was anxious to obtain an engineer's opinion, but not looking forward to a fee that might be in the thousands of dollars. Level provided exactly what I was looking for at a very affordable price. The engineer was on time, friendly and sociable. He spent more time with me than expected and we examined and discussed topics well beyond the crack, including drainage and foundation health and other home structural topics. He carefully examined the crack and my home for structural issues. He explained remediation options if the crack got worse and provided an action plan going forward. All in all one of the better values I've received as a homeowner.
