The addition is finally started. I have made several revisions in the process. Sheri has responded quickly and done the designs right. I am new to the process. She has explained the details from foundation to structure materials. With her help, I can handle this entire project myself instead of hiring a general contractor.

We were referred to Level Engineering by our general contractor when we needed engineering plans put together for a home renovation project. We are lucky to have been put in touch with Level Engineering and Chris, the engineer on our project.

Throughout the project, Chris has been easy to get a hold of, great at explaining things, upfront about pricing, and fantastic at meeting (and beating) deadlines. He has gone above and beyond to help us ensure we have had everything we needed for our project to get approved, including several site visits and even proactive contact with the reviewer at the City of Denver.

We would not have had a clue where to start when it came to all of the required plans and paperwork, so feel fortunate to have had Chris on our team throughout this project. He’s done great work and we’d definitely use Level Engineering again if the need surfaces.

I highly recommend this firm. I hired LEVEL to inspect a home I recently purchased in Boulder, CO. The home was originally built in 1970 in a chalet style in the foothills. My inspector did not recommend an engineer, instead I hired LEVEL preemptively to look for any structural concerns.

The engineer, Ashley, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She called me the night of the inspection and we spoke for nearly an hour about a couple concerns she had. That same evening, she was at an event with other engineers from the firm and suggested asking her peers for a second opinion about the areas of concern. Communication was great and she was very patient with all my questions.

After the conversation with her peers, Ashley suggested they return to the property to get a closer look at the foundation. The seller agreed to lift some floor boards to view the foundation. Ashley returned to the property with her supervisor and a contractor to provide a quote should any foundational repairs be needed. She offered to do this without me asking and did not charge me any extra fees for the return trip.

In the end, the foundation was in good shape. We spoke about a few minor areas of concern.

LEVEL gave me the confidence I needed to move forward with the property and sleep well at night. Based on my experience, I provide my highest recommendation for this firm.
