So far so good! We started working with Lennar back in January. We got pre-approved and joined the VIP list. We awaited the model and lot that we wanted and ended up securing it. Joey has been fantastic to work with and Deborah has been quite pleasant in ensuring our needs are met. Our home is still under construction, but any issues we’ve addressed have been remedied thus far. We are hoping for a smooth process going forward with closing and can’t wait to see our finished home!

We love our new house! Lennar built a great house! We’ve had a couple of issues as is typical with a new build, but the customer care team has been so great and communicative with us. Things have been fixed quickly. The approval process for our new landscaping went through very quickly! Honestly, the whole experience has made me want to look at more Lennar homes in the area for investment for recommendations for family and friends. We went with Lennar mortgage as well and got an unbelievable rate and had a great experience. Overall a much better experience than I expected.

We bought this place largely in part to the access to the trails. The sales associates told us we would have access and now the gate is locked and the HOA says it's the city's gate.

What an absolutely horrific experience. Imagine going to a community that is selling homes only to have your loan officer turn your home buying experience into a nightmare by underreporting my income, under reporting my assets, including debts that had already been paid off and telling me I didn’t qualify for a conventional loan with a 744 middle credit score because my debt to income was too high. Once I started collecting receipts to let them know that I was filing complaints on anyone with a license did they change the loan officer. Even then I had to reach out to Laura Escobar the president of Lennar Mortgage to let her know that the Inland Empire group didn’t get the memo on how much the company wanted to promote home ownership. If not for Ms. Escobar, I would have filed a HUD complaint because I had collected enough information during this horrendous experience. Then imagine going to collect your keys and having them smile like hyenas after giving you hell during the sales process 🤬🤬🤬

UPDATE1: HUD complaint filed against Lennar and Lennar Mortgage.
UPDATE 2: How about Lennar thinking they can intimidate me by sending mail from legal support. INTIMIDATE HUD!

Within two weeks of moving in, sixteen issues were found, including but not limited to slab deficiencies, concrete defects, unlevel flooring, ponding in the yard after rain, HVAC issues, two plumbing leaks, fencing not secured to the ground, stucco issues, missing weather seal, and flooring installed over a hump. My customer service representative continuously stated that he was engaging contractors to come and fix the issues, but I had to contact the contractors or have someone higher up in management contact them and still every single request except one remains unresolved six weeks later I am getting the same response of “we are getting in touch with the contractors to fix the issues”.

It has caused me to be living in a
construction zone for six weeks now, when contractors were sent out, they created further issues by damaging the property more and/or creating an unfinished project and not coming back to finish the job. Now I still have boxes stacked up everywhere while waiting for finishing repairs that still have not been scheduled. Poor quality, major issues, and fraudulent representations have been my experience and it is so disappointing and frustrating.

Andrew Lauren sold and installed the flooring in my new construction home at Willow Springs last month. They did not level the floors and now I have a house with an unlevel floor which can literally be felt when you walk in it. When I tried to schedule the repair, the rep was so rude and mocked the entire situation. Then they came to fix the most egregious area and tore apart the powder bathroom and installed flooring that didn’t match (while I was present and objecting to the flooring because it didn’t match). They lied and said even though the item numbers do not match, it is the same flooring. They damaged flooring in the hall while tearing apart the bathroom to reinstall the other room’s floor (where they installed the wrong color flooring). Once it was installed, when it was super evident that it didn’t match, the rep said that it’s not the same flooring, but it’s all they had that day. Then I was told they could come back multiple times to try and match flooring. Keep in mind the original install was not even a month earlier. Lennar’s subcontractor, Andrew Lauren, participated in deceptive sales practices by expressly telling me that they come out to the property and level the floors before installing any flooring and the fact of the matter is, they never did that. My entire home has unlevel flooring and this company after charging me close to $24,000 on top of what the builder charged for stock flooring, did a very poor job - it’s embarrassing to let anyone in. And when guests point out the unstable unlevel floor in my brand new construction, it is infuriating. The company has not been responsible and has not upheld the warranty, they have stopped communicating with me and they think I’m going to go away, but I am actually going to file a lawsuit. Very very very bad experience. Stressful and unnecessary. I am also going to report the fraudulent practices to the department of consumer affairs.

Bottom line: this has been the most stressful experience of my life and it has caused me to change my schedule to have to be home on multiple days for people from Lennar to come “look at the issues” and tell me that they are going to be addressed, then I am told to just wait until whenever they decide to contact me for an appointment … still waiting six weeks later.
