Lake of the Woods has quickly become our family's new favorite summer vacation spot. Lakeside is easily drivable from Tucson, and the milder temperatures and abundant trees are perfect for a change of pace from the desert. The cabins are the perfect middle ground between comfort (with couches, beds, refrigerators, showers, etc) and rustic charm. There are tons of fun family activities available both at the resort itself, as well as the surrounding towns.

This place is very relaxing, dog friendly and picturesque. Our cabin was overlooking the “lake” and I loved waking up every morning and looking through my binos at the eagles, blue heron and many different types of ducks. After sunset you can see the fish jumping up out of the water.
The staff is VERY responsive and helpful!

My buddy had his wedding here. We rented like 4 cabins that all were great. It's convenient and has its own private lake. Had a blast

I think they need to have more lamps around the whole facility for people who come in late at night.Cause it makes it difficult to find the cabins. We stayed in cabin 18.Which is obviously an older cabin.The room had only one elec socket in the bedroom. They ask you to wash the dishes, Not an issue but there were no scrubbers , so if if food was stuck to the pots , we had to boil water to make sure it came off. Since there is no air conditioner I think they should invest in ceiling fans. The scenery is beautiful, the cabins are intune with the area.

Our first time here and we enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Love the rustic cabin feel and the amenities away from home. Like that they allow our pets. The cabin is in need of many repairs and updates. Beds are not the greatest, but you have a place to lay your head. Will be back again.

Everything was so gorgeous and I had an amazing time here! Before the end of the trip we planned our return for next year!

I can't wait to go earlier in the year for more fishing and hopefully pinecones that still have nuts!

Cabin # 20 again receives a 5-star review! My husband caught fish all day long.|Actually came home with a sore shoulder from casting and catching! Fun fishing.|Clean and well-stocked cabins, your outdoor big trash can gets emptied all the time. |Wi-Fi/Internet connection(s) are up and down (location, not LOTW fault at all.) |Bring your own "hot spot" if you have one, will save you a lot of time and aggravation.||Great trip for a week --- we had a blast again! |Love this place.
