If you are going to this Doctor for an Independent Medical Examination BEWARE! He seems like a sweet old man, but he is a liar and lacks all integrity. I'm sure he has worked for the insurance companies for a long time, and do to this fact he is more inclined to say whatever it is that will benefit the insurance company. If you do have an Independent Medical Examination, i would suggest you record the session, and i would do it without him knowing, which is 100% legal in the state on new York. If you do not have an Independent Medical Examination with this doctor, i would suggest going to any other doctor! Don't you want a Doctor who has a sense of integrity? or how about a Doctor who is willing to say what ever necessary to benefit an insurance company instead of an injured person? I'm sure you want a Doctor who holds themselves to a higher standard than this one.
