Dr Kyle Allen and his entire staff at Tampa Bay Hearing and Balance Center were very professional, caring and informative about the Med-El cochlear implant procedure I was to have done. Dr. Allen explained the processes in detail and took time to answer all of my questions. Dr. Allen performed the surgery and I was sent home with detailed care instructions and had pre-order prescriptions. I healed in two weeks and was cleared for activation of the implant. I found Dr. Allen to be very knowledgeable, caring, and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a cochlear implant. When I went to the audiologist to have my device activated, they also said Dr Allen did a wonderful job the incision was hardly noticeable.

We are currently under the care of Dr. Allen. Our child is having very complicated issues with his ears. They were ignored by his ENT far too long. His first surgery with Dr. Allen included Mastoidectomy, implant replacing two ear bones and tympanoplasty. There were complications a few weeks afterward because our son had a mycobacterium infection (not caught by former ENT). Dr. Allen had him come back to the hospital and ran tests/cultures. We are in treatment now for that. Dr. Allen continues to closely follow him. The follow up and communication with Tampa Bay Hearing & Balance has been excellent. Dr. Allen is a brilliant Neurotologist, and we have been very pleased with the care we’ve received. His staff is also professional & compassionate. This is a medical practice that exceeds expectations daily.

Dr Allen is one in a million. I have a neuroma over my auditory nerve. Dr Allen performed a cyber knife surgery and in the last 5 years their has been no growth. I feel he is so professional but caring and we drive all the way from North Carolina to see him yearly. As I say he is the very Best!

Awesome Doctor and the staff is excellent. Dr Allen removed a mass in my right and replaced the hearing bones with prosthetic ones and rebuilt the ear drum. Took a phone call on a Saturday night at 10:30 to address an non-emergency issue. In my 65 years of seeing doctors he was by far the best at me making me feel that my medical issues were important.
