Kyle added two bedrooms and bathrooms to a duplex in El Cerrito for us starting right before the pandemic and ending at the start of 2021. His work is quality and the three things that stood out for us are communication, problem solving and attention to detail. His communication is straightforward, objective, clear and up-front; he always got back to me almost immediately and certainly within a day. I also wasn't repeating myself - we'd talk and it never fell through the cracks. Kyle's a skilled problem solver. If something unexpected came up, he'd tell me about it and if he hadn't already resolved it, he'd explain options for moving forward. He was also very helpful during interactions with city inspectors and with getting our revised plans through the approval process. For us, Kyle and his crew knocked it out of the park and we're grateful to have worked with him.

Kyle is a craftsman. He has worked on my home for around 10 years. He has installed custom wood windows, rebuilt a deck, built a 6' retaining wall, built concrete sidewalks and stairs and replaced sections of foundation. He has also done interior finish work. He treats my home as if it were his own. One of the things I appreciate most is that he won't cover over a problem he discovers. He knows when something needs to be addressed and brings it to my attention along with a sound recommendation.
He has great work habits. He shows up when he says he will, works steadily and gets the project done when promised. When Kyle brings in a crew to help, they mirror his work habits and are well supervised.
I recommend KP Carpentry without hesitation.
