Incredible experience.

We had a need for good carpet with installation on a shorter schedule (lead time can be weeks or month just to order and ship the carpet / flooring).

I connected with their estimator (Dave) who was such a pleasure to talk with as he took measurements.

Then Sara(h), who helped us on the showroom floor, was beyond kind and insanely generous with her time and knowledge.

She flagged carpets for us based on 'time to ship' allowing us to narrow down choices.

Oh, and we even took several samples for visuals (which we promptly returned).

The team really worked to get the carpets in to match our move-in timeframe, and then founds opportunities to move up the install -- which was awesome.

When Mike and Isaac came to install the carpets they were incredibly respectful, kind and efficient.

The carpets look great, and we plan to go back when we're ready to redo our other rooms.

I was having a very tough day, trying to find a piece of transition for my flooring project and having no luck anywhere else.
Fortunately I found Kohls Flooring Store and Wendy Delfosse could not have been more helpful and kind. She saved my day by going out of her way to check with her boss to see if he had any product in the color I needed that had been left over from one of their previous projects. Fortunately he did and I was able to get what I needed.
If Wendy had not taken the time and trouble to search further for me I would have been out of luck.
Great customer service, I heartily recommend going to Kohls Flooring for your future needs. They go the extra mile.

Would not recommend. Tile installer has either been late or doesn’t show up. My time is to valuable to wait hours and hours for a no show! Look elsewhere! FYI he called me 1.5 hours past the time said he wouldn’t be able to come for another hour because he forgot.

Haven't actually had the work done yet but so far am impressed by the friendly professionalism and knowledge of the staff. We were there looking at tile for a long time and never felt pressured to buy. Because of that we will. More to come later but so far so good.
Update. Floor is in and it's gorgeous. Craftsmen arrived right on schedule and finished the job in no time. Left work area clean. We did have a problem with a missed spot and cracked threshold but this was taken care of quickly. The missed area was only because it was under a small door hiding an ironing board...an unusual feature but common in houses 100+ years ago I guess. Anyway, it wasn't recognized as a door and they thought it was going to be covered by molding. Can't fault them for that.
My initial impression of this company still stands.

Kohls Flooring waisted nearly 2 weeks of my time during a critical juncture of my move. They’d provided me a collection of carpet samples to vet with my family and friends that had been discontinued for over a year. When discovered, their response was to blame the brand reps and to leave me hanging in the middle. They took absolutely no responsibility for the needless delay in my move-in process. Following the move, when I was prepared for install, I asked that they consider discounting the fee for moving two bedroom sets, since that expense would not have been necessary if their showroom had been in order. The request was flatly denied. From the first syllable, the owner could not have been more pompous; he was dismissive, purposely disrespectful and insulting, and treated me like I’d stolen from him. Apparently, he doesn’t like being petitioned by common customers, and prefers they behave like sheep when faced with the arrogance of a business that thinks they’ve cornered a market.

I saved nearly $500, about 15% of the total bill, by taking my business to Carpetland, where I was treated with the dignity and respect that every one of us deserves. Both process and result were flawless. Go to Carpetland.
