Quick, affordable, and knowledgable. I had several bids to replace decaying siding on our house, and Koalaty was the most competitive and informed. They were also the least pushy and willing to work with the project size we wanted. They were able to work on our job sooner than expected and showed great patience working with the terrible support team from our solar provider. Koalaty identified some issues with our house's previous siding work and addressed it when they put up the new siding.

We did have an issue with paint, but they sent out one of their paint experts who fixed it quickly. Overall I would certainly use Koalaty again.

Review from 2nd job: Hired them 2nd time to do the 2nd half of the house and my entire review below from the first job 8 months ago stands. Did a great job and made sure everything was completed as promised and expected.
Review from first job: Koalaty is a great siding company. I looked for a Hardee contractor and had two other bids as well. All three bids were roughly in line in terms of cost, and all had good reviews on yelp and the Hardee contractor section website. I decided to go with Koalaty due to the following:
1. The Personal Factor: Koalaty is a smaller company w/ all the expertise of a large contractor, which really helps to get to know the people, including the owner Cory, the head of sales Tom, and the operations leaders Star and Paul. After speaking w/ them multiple times before the start of the job I was convinced they could be trusted, and in retrospect I was 100% right. If there were any issues as the project progressed, the Koalaty team always came up honest and true to their word, willing to go the extra mile.
2. The Expert Factor: Koalaty really has all the latest expertise around installing Hardee siding, and not only siding, but related matters such as insulation (both temp and sound) and structure / framing. I needed to improve insulation and they worked w/ me to get the best option for the cost. Also, their workers are some of the best, which is not easy to keep these days w/ high demand and turnover in Denver. But their line workers stick w/ Koalaty for the long term, despite attempts by competitors to steal top workers. So Koalaty takes care of their people, who deliver the end product, which was important for me.
3. The Flexibility Factor: Koalaty is flexible in that they can just do a part of the property, which is what I wanted. They started by doing one side, and towards the end of the job I liked the work so much that decided to expand w/ another section of the house. They accommodated that with the same team and at competitive cost.
4. The Competitive Factor: Koalaty is competitive on price with the other top vendors, and can even come in a bit below to win and keep a customer. So knowing that you are not overpaying, and maybe even saving a few hundred $ is always helpful. They will also not sacrifice on quality of any of the materials (other than the Hardee boards) to get you the best price.
In summary, I am glad I found Koalaty and went with them. I know I am getting top quality service at the best price out there. I liked them so much that I am having the remaining major section of the house done this upcoming spring.
For reference my job was a full outside wall rebuild down to the studs by replacing any damaged insulation, installing all new OSB boards, taping the OSB at the edges, installing 1/2 inch EPS foam on top of the OSB, taping the foam boards at the edges, installing a vapor barrier on top, and finally installing the hardee boards. They also installed hardee trim around the windows, doors, gable vents, installed trim to the ground, and even put up a couple of awnings. Pics below:

I highly recommend Koalaty for James Hardie siding replacement.

We purchased our home three years ago in 2016. At the time of purchase, we knew there were some issues with the siding on the house. The previous owner had installed James Hardie siding around 2001. He either did it himself or had a contractor who didn’t know what they were doing. It was installed incorrectly per most every James Hardie specification and installed over the old cedar siding. This resulted in many of the Hardie planks loosening off the house.

Our first plan was to repair the siding then paint the house. Unfortunately, when you just want to repair siding, most companies won’t even respond to the inquiry. That wasn’t the case with Koalaty. They were the only company to respond. Within a few days, their salesman Tom came out to the house to discuss options. After inspecting the siding with Tom, it became clear to me that our best option to address the siding on our home that we intend to own for many years was to fully replace the siding. Tom did offer options to repair the existing siding as best as possible, but we want to protect our largest investment so went with a full residing.

I received 4 quotes for a total residing. All 4 quotes were fairly close in price. We made the decision to use Koalaty after carefully reviewing their online reviews, as well as the professionalism of the salesman Tom.

Our project included the following: removing two layers of siding (old Hardie layer and cedar wood layer), installing new OSB around the entire house, installing James Hardie siding, soffits and fascia, then installing new gutters. We could have went with a primed board and painted the house but opted for the James Hardie ColorPlus (factory pre-painted).

The work began within a few weeks of signing the contract. The crew that completed the work on our house were respectful of our property and did a fantastic job. They would answer any questions we had. If it was something they couldn’t address, Darren & Paul were a phone call away and responded immediately

Once the job was 99.9% completed, Paul came out to do a final walk-through. There were a few concerns I had that needed to be addressed. Paul and Darren worked quickly to get the crew back out to finish a few touch up items. They wouldn’t take final payment until I was 100% satisfied with the work that was completed.

As with any major project, sometimes things can go wrong. When working around the hose bib on the outside of my house, a water leak occurred in the wall. Darren called me immediately to tell me about the leaking pipe. It was about a total of 30 minutes until I got home and was able to shut off the water. In that time, about 300 gallons of water leaked into the basement.

The great team at Koalaty saved the day. Within 2 hours of the leak, they had a restoration company at my house to dry out the basement. Thanks to that quick action, there was no damage other than drying things out then putting the carpet and baseboards back together. The only reason the damage was mitigated was due to the quick action of Koalaty to resolve the issue. Darren even dropped everything he was doing and came to Evergreen to meet the restoration company. Cory followed up that day with a phone call to me and assured me they would take care of any damages, and make sure the basement was good as new. I am happy to say, that’s exactly what they did. I was so very impressed with the entire team at Koalaty for resolving this issue. Truly a great contractor.

It’s now been over two months since the completion of the full residing job on my house and I couldn’t be happier. From the outside, it is like a brand new house. We have received many compliments from friends and neighbors. I'm adding photos of the completed work and one before photo, but the photos do not do justice to the great work Koalaty did on the house. I will gladly refer Koalaty to friends and family. Thanks to the entire team at Koalaty for great workmanship and being a contractor who truly cares about the client
