I viewed one of the properties today on Cromwell and I would first like to say that the apartment has great potential to be something very homey and beautiful. But, there are quite a few things I noticed during the tour that detered me from wanting to move forward. First thing I noticed, where one of the walls in the kitchen looked unevenly painted. Like someone may have started to paint and didn't finish. The baseboards around the home were dirty as well. When I entered the bathroom immediately noticed the window was rusted and paint chipped. Also, the floor vent in the bathroom had rust and chipped paint and when I asked the women who was giving me the tour if they would be willing to replace it, she told me that that wasn't something that was going to be replaced. Then, in the bedroom there was a beautiful balcony view of the wooded trees in the backyard, as I tried to open it to step out and take a look she told me that it had been locked and that no one could use the balcony because it is not safe. Again, I asked if that is something that they are going to be fixing and she stated not right now. The screen door to the balcony also had damage, a few holes that was covered in some weird material, again she said they wouldn't be replacing that either. After so many "not right now's" and "we won't be replacing this/that" on things that obviously need fixed before it is rented to any tenant, I was then completely turned off and left. I cannot fathom how as landlords/property managers how you would be even willing to show a property without it being completely cleaned and all repairs done. Why would anyone want to move in a place where the paint job looks terrible, there are visible stains and dirt along the walls (living room closet), rusted vents and windows that you aren't willing to replace, and a beautiful balcony that you can't even step out on? That makes no sense. And I would never give anyone a dime for a place in such condition.

Housing is fairly priced and in convenient locations. ESA friendly with no hassle, and the property managers get issues resolved quickly. Super friendly and accommodating. The house next door also rents with this company and we are all satisfied.
