Tyler Sanders was very helpful when he came to inspect the two heat pumps in our condo. We were having a heating issue with one and he was able to fix it. He also advised us on better air filters for our particular types of units, and on how to maximize their cooling capabilities.

He was knowledgeable, amiable, and earnest. We highly recommend him.

My condo building uses a fairly unique HVAC system involving water source heat pumps in each unit and while I’m a pretty handy guy I recently came across a problem I couldn’t figure out on my own. So after some searching: turns out surprisingly few HVAC people have the know how to deal with these systems and a lot of recommendations from neighbors I was pointing to King Mechanical who did not disappoint. Tyler came out to work on my unit and not only was he able to easily fix my problem he also clearly had a ton of experience and put my mind at ease in terms of cleaver workarounds for future issues I was concerned about in order to prolong having to replace my unit entirely (something I’m not looking forward to)… anyways I will definitely be calling these guys first thing going forward and highly recommend you do as well. Called King Mechanical as they have a contract in our building for HVAC maintenance - Our AC would periodically and randomly not blow cold air and the whole place would get very hot if we were not home. They came out and looked at the unit, installed a part that made the problem worse (the problem happens more frequently now), charged us $300 bucks for making the issue worse. Not much in the way of customer service or standing behind their work. I understand that it's random and I can't predict when it will happen, but saying "there's nothing we can do" and still charging me for making a problem worse didn't really sit well with me. I will be using a different company moving forward.

I was referred to King Mechanical by my building HOA, as they’ve done lots of work in our building. My HVAC was making a clicking sound, someone came out to repair it - they did, the clicking was gone & i paid my $600 invoice to them. However, about a week later, I noticed a water spot beginning to form where work had been done & called them back. They had someone out promptly to repair/stop the leak however, my ceiling tile is now massively stained. Additionally, they had the audacity to send me another bill for $100+ for their 2nd visit (to repair their 1st round of work). I’ve messaged Bev & team multiple times (between Aug - Oct) with videos/photos evidence of the stained tile. They said they’d be out to repair it - they’ve ghosted me. I now have to repair that tile on my own (& have every intention of invoicing them for the repairs that I’ll have to figure out on my own).

Was very happy initially but ultimately have had/continue to have really poor experience & do not recommend.

I had been having an overflow problem from my heat pump for quite some time with several failed attempts to fix it. Tyler from King Mechanical came to my rescue accurately diagnosing the problem and coming up with a low cost solution. He was fantastic. He was very professional and thoroughly tested the repair to assure it solved the problem completely. I would highly recommend Tyler and King Mechanical for your HVAC repairs.

The most inappropriate, aggressive, unprofessional, and downright offensive encounter with their tech, Mike. White male, 6+ feet tall. After banging on the door, he did not introduce who he was at all and barged into my apartment. Very rude, not communicating, threw all my stuff around and then after tearing apart the radiators he just left the mess there. Without going into details with the whole technical ordeal, he came back a second time and just started screaming at me. To the point that I felt scared and asked him to leave multiple times. He could have been any dangerous man entering my home without warning or permission. I'm a women at home alone and his behavior made me feel like he was intentionally trying to scare me and I had a horrible panic attack after. Again, this is on top of the terrible job quality. He's "done work" for us twice before and was incredibly rude both times so I don't consider this an isolated incident.

I'm writing this review because his manager, Bev, refused to acknowledge this happened. Wouldn't even respond and also ZERO help trying to get this massive issue resolved. Really playing the blame game, and we ended up doing their work for them. She wanted to send a team in to tear up my dry wall, when the pipe was not accessible from our unit and I had told her multiple times I would not be allowed Mike inside. We didn't have heat for weeks during multiple sub zero days. This man should not be allowed to enter people's home and Bev needs to actually read an email and respond accordingly.

First time user, but had issues with my AC and King's customer service and actual service were first rate. They scheduled me in a reasonable time frame and called ahead when on way. The techs were courteous and completed the service and repairs in a timely manner as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
