When we began our journey of building on our existing lake lot, we talked with several design/build firms and finally chose Keuler due to the past work we had witnessed in our original home community and in what they had built with other lake properties. The team really listened to what we wanted in a home and produced an incredibly thorough proposal with appropriate allowances to accommodate our needs. The team worked with us on the design, and we couldn't be happier with the end product - truly maximizing the space and views of the water utilizing very high-quality materials. Austin (& Dave) did a wonderful job managing the project and truly advocating with (& for) us throughout the build process. The subcontractors that Keuler utilizes are top notch and worked very hard to make sure that we were completely satisfied. Keuler has enough building experience/expertise in their history to thoughtfully assist throughout the design/build process. Any issues that have arisen since we moved in have been addressed promptly. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful home!!!!

Building a custom home is no small feat and choosing WHO is going to build that home is the most important decision you can make. We were fortunate enough to work with Keuler Construction on the design and construction of our new home and could not be happier. As first time custom builders we were not sure how to start the process of going from “dream” to “reality”. Keuler Construction was there with us every single step. The team is not only extremely talented and knowledgeable, but they are meticulous with details. From the organization in their office of vendor information, purchasing orders etc. to the on-site attention to detail - nothing was missed. The subcontractors and preferred vendors that work with Keuler Construction are the best and some of the kindest people we’ve met. When you build a home you spend a lot of time with the builder and we can honestly say that we made the best decision by working with Keuler Construction. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

We had Keuler Construction build our home and we love it!! Their quality in my opinion is unmatched, they have always been extremely helpful when we wanted to make any changes during the building process, whenever we needed anything fixed, or if we have any questions about our house or changes to it now. Recently, we had them come back and remove our original deck and add a new awesome maintenance free deck. We have received numerous compliments on our new deck. They have always made us feel like family and have taken care of us like we are a part of their family. My husband and I built a home with Keuler Construction starting in 2014 and it was completed in May of 2015. We were first time home builders; Willy and Michele made the process very easy. Willy was very hands on in the building process (he did all the finishing work for the 3 seasons room in our home). Michele and Dave keep the project moving along --knowing when selections are due.

In our experience Keuler Construction was fair and honest. We had our house bid out by another company and the quoted price for construction was nearly the same. We cannot comment on the drafting part of the construction process because our home was designed by an architect in Chicago.

We would definitely recommend Keuler Construction for your next home build.

This review is overdue. We were first time home builders and have zero regrets choosing Willy and Michele Keuler. From walking the lot, to the design, to the actual build and help once construction was finished, Willy and Michele were there every step of the way. Perhaps where they really shine is when the home is actively being constructed. I appreciated Willy's ability to see what the plans said but then showed us why a small tweak would be better. Five years later, we still send a Christmas card, they know our sons names and send us assistance when we encounter something within our home. They told us at the start that we would be a part of the Keuler family forever and five years later, we know that we are.
