Great experiences. The staff are professional, courteous, helpful, and well trained. The make themselves available to answer questions, provide sound follow up, and can articulate complex matters in a digestible and common language way.

Easy to get to. Never super busy. Plenty of parking. Light traffic around the county center.

Very nice single loop paved walking path without any hills. Easy walk for seniors, kids, etc.

Garden area at trailhead is very pretty. The rest is mostly open prairie with a couple of views of a pond.

Early May 2024 there are tons of wood ticks in the grass so beware if you are walking a dog. They are also terrible at my house, so not a judgement.

The County was offering home Radon Test kits for Kenosha County residents to test their home (following the how to instructions) and send it into the place that analyzes the tests for you.
For those who don’t know Radon is a highly dead naturally formed gas that seeps into homes through the ground and is known to cause many dangerous medical issues for people, especially CANCER.
They were available one to a person (had to provide ID for them. All they asked for was a donation of non-perishable food items for the needy and $5 which covered the cost of the tests being analyzed at the labs of the company that the kits were from (once the results were ready they notify you through your email address and with instructions on how to get the results sent to your email address).

Went for employment stuff and an ID picture. Seems really empty inside. (Covid fallout?) Housekeeping crews diligently cleaning! For who I'm not sure! Very nice place, easy in and out. Lots of parking!! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Was there to take an exam for a job I applied online. Can't really say too much as I didn't see anything special? The view out the rear of the building is pretty ... big pond and a few birdhouses. I was here for a job fair a few years back bit I haven't had to deal with any actual government business.

Well maintained spacious county facility in a picturesque location offers many amenities and services. Meeting and conference rooms are often used for community workshops, seminars and other classes. Fully equipped audio visual rooms for media rich gatherings. Very helpful staff. Outside pond and gardens, too.
