Just saw Dr. Martinez for the first time. He was very knowledgeable, kind and understanding and made a three step plan to address my chronic headaches. I really appreciate that he has different options and is not just set on one plan and if it doesn’t work, he would give up. He had a lot of ideas and took my concerns of side effects of medicine and told me he would not use medicines with the sedative side effects that I get. He explained the difference classes of medicine and what we had to try to get the insurance to cover the next plan.
He was very understanding and patient very kind and open to what I had to say and what I’ve done in the past and made a plan to use my past medical records and improve on them and to created a plan. Instead of trying what i had already done again, He gave me hope in solving my 38 year chronic headache problem.
I am very thankful that I was referred to the doctor. I read the reviews prior to coming and was almost going to cancel because of the negative comments. But I’m so glad that I didn’t. He is a wonderful knowledgeable Dr who cares and gives hope to find a solution.
If you need a great neurologist see Dr Martinez.

Update: thanks for the reply I guess, but your front desk office is still MAD RUDE. Calling me acting like I’m supposed to know why yall are calling me? Such a bad attitude. Get it together.

Not sure why not a single soul can answer the phone, if your extensions are incorrect please fix them. Because no one picks up the phone when you select option 1 to schedule an appointment. Literally so annoying and front desk is extremely rude.

I'm 70 years old and have run the gamut after 50 years of migraines. Because of this, I have seen many different neurologists. Dr. Martinez is outstanding. His experience, knowledge, kindness and people skills are outstanding. He has given me the most help with my migraines than any other doctor I have met. I also have to mention that his staff is outstanding as well. And how many doctors have you heard of that have an acute pain clinic next door associated with their office? What a godsend!

Today was my first in office visit with Dr. Martinez and Dr. Kuo— the moment I arrived the front desk staff signed me in, and they also made my follow up appointments based on what my appointment was for today. The kind assistant that took me back to the room, had a kind smile and compassionate tone. When both doctors entered the room, they are willing to listen and understand my unique situation. After my treatment, I mentioned some concerns and Dr. Martinez was able to alleviate them. It’s hard to find an office where all the staff come from a point of compassion and kindness and I’m grateful that I didn’t let the bad reviews guide my experience. My pain management doctor referred me to Dr. Martinez and I am grateful that they have a healthy working relationship.

Rarely write reviews, but Absolutely the worst neurologist I have ever seen. If there was a negative star, that’s what I would use. I struggled w migraines for over 20 years, in for a consult. Starts off telling me what he will not do for me, told me I was lying, then that he didn’t want to treat me. Tells me to speak my peace before leaving, which I did. I was stunned, having gone in there w a migraine. I was so stressed, when I left, I stopped to go get a refund and he slammed right into me, the side of my neck that triggers migraines. Then says it’s my fault for stopping abruptly, that he has witnesses, and he knew that I was one of them. Absolutely crazy. Kudos to you if you like him but I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy. If I would have been a frail person he would have knocked me down. I changed my whole network because of him. Memorial Care won’t get another penny from me. I feel sorry for his family because he’s a bitter, little man that lacks empathy with a very fragile ego. This was my experience.

Dr. Martinez and his staff are awesome none better, I was refereed to Dr. Martinez by my doctor in 2010. I was very fortunate that his office evaluated me and accepted my case. I am a frequent visitor, every three months and can't thank them enough. My condition is not curable but he makes my life easier to coup. From reminder phone calls all the way up to procedures and after care calls. Dr. Martinez, cares and is passionate about my medical treatment. Can not thank him, his team and staff members for everything they do for me and my family. Simply the best...

This place is phenomenal, I had severe migraine headaches for 2 weeks and was referred to Dr. Martinez’s Office. First, the entire medical staff is very kind and friendly. Because of the severity of my headaches they were able to schedule me quickly as well.
I ended up getting treated by the P.A Neurologist Meagan, she was so compassionate toward me and my situation. Also, after she examined me, she immediately began to treat my headache with several medications that were highly, effective.
Within minutes after being treated I started to feel much better. I don’t know what I would of done without her. I am so grateful for the high-quality medical treatment I received.

Dr. Martinez got right to the point: accurately summarized all the info he had about my condition, asked me if I had any questions or additional problems, and then carefully outlined a step-by-step plan of action to get a diagnosis. I left his office feeling that I was fortunate to have found a rare and excellent physician. And kudos to the staff.
