We are so sad and disappointed.
Called Ken in December to ask for proof of what roofing materials they used. Said he was "checking into it" and would get back to us.
July, our NEW ROOF leaked again! Left two text messages - no reply. Sent a certified letter and finally had to walk into their office. Finally sent someone AGAIN to fix our roof only to discover the sub-contractor they used actually used and/used parts on our roof.
Asked AGAIN for proof of roofing materials in the form of a receipt and was finally told 7 MONTHS after the first request - they have no way of obtaining proof and said I was "unreasonable in my demands." A room addition, bathroom, roof, roofline change and other add ons.
Nothing but problems. They sub-contracted someone who created ongoing problems for us and our home.
At first, they appeared to make an effort to correct the problems but now I'm unreasonable in my demands? The have had to fix my NEW ROOF 4 OR 5 TIMES! There is a discrepancy on proper permits. I've called the city and county who claim they didn't pull proper permits and I'm left in the middle of this terrible mess. .
They have had to repair our NEW ROOF 4 or 5 times! The subcontractor even covered/buried our sprinkler line with cement. They proudly talk about their contributions, awards and contributions to the community but left two seniors hanging with a mess.
They worked with us at the beginning but it appears as if the disaster caused by their sub-contractor has created a loss for them. Somehow we are unreasonable. This is simply heartbreaking at this time in our lives as seniors.
Most recently we also discovered the sub-contractors they hired left our attic full of construction trash - 2 SMALL TRUCKLOADS.
Simply heartbreaking.
We started this as the last big project for our bucket list and have been left with a disaster.
I/we recently asked the owner Ken Arnold to sit down and meet with us to resolve things once and for all. He declined indicating they were busy and stated we wouldn't be happy with anything and had unrealistic expectations. It's unrealistic to have the construction trash removed from our attic? All the problems with our roof.
