Had Brett come out for a structural inspection. Thought he was a little too pricey at first. After the inspection was done, I realized it was worth every penny. Very thorough, straight shooter, professional and patient. Would 100% go with Brett again

WOW, I can’t say enough good things about the service we experienced in this home inspection. Brett was very professional in checking everything out that could be and is a potential problem. He checked things I would never have thought of and then when he was finished he went over his findings with us and then sent me an electronic (professional) report explaining everything in detail. I would recommend Kanawha Valley home inspections to anybody. They are worth the money and could conceivably save you tens of thousands of dollars. Thank You Brett we appreciate the wonderful job you provided . You won’t be sorry if you hire them I know I wasn’t.

I heard from several colleagues/contractors/associates that Brett was the best around. I must say after using this service for my home purchase inspection I totally agree. I felt completely at-ease with this purchase because I was completely informed of any and all issues and how I should prioritize them. Brett is extremely knowledgeable of a variety of topics and I greatly appreciate his in-depth inspection, honest assessment and recommendations and his timeliness. (I was actually late for the inspection, but he went ahead and started looking at the exterior. That efficiency is appreciated!) Definitely would use this company again if needed and will refer to others.

We recently had Brett perform a structural inspection of our property. He responded to our request immediately, conducted a thorough and detailed analysis of the property, identified any issues needing attention and provided specific plans and recommendations for the necessary work. He was a consumate professional and provided exactly what we needed. As the work is performed we intend to have him oversee the project and confirm the work has been properly completed. We have used other inspectors, including another engineer, in the past, but Brett was by far the best. I can't recommend him highly enough.

I have used them twice over the last 6 months while trying to buy a home. Both times Ben was my inspector. He is so thorough and explains what he was seeing in terms I could understand. The report came within 2 days of the inspection - much faster than other companies I have used over the years. The document is very comprehensive and easy to read - it clearly lays out items that need immediate repair once I own the home. Without reservations I recommend Ben and KVE!

Brett was very professional and did an excellent job on our pre-purchase inspection. The property was well maintained, however, Brett was able to find multiple areas of concern to investigate. If you're making the investment in buying a house I recommend having Brett inspect it.
