I am out working here out of town and Dr. Yap was one of the first Dr.'s I could get in for a new patient appointment with my new insurance. He was very patient with me being more unprepared than I would have liked. He was communicative, listened, spoke to me with respect, and was very knowledgeable. He didn't try and rush me out; he showed he actually cared about getting my information correctly and getting the help I needed. He is proficient and I wish I could keep him as my primary Dr. Anyone who chooses him, has a diamond in the rough!

Wonderfully kind. Whenever i was describing my symptoms and history, there was direct eye contact and confirmation of information before any notes were put into my file. Fantastic nurse that helped with EKG as well, i do not remember her name.

Dr. Yap was so beyond wonderful and helpful. I got bitten by a big dog and was freaking out over stitches and being a baby. He took his time and was so gentle and had me laughing most of the time. Such a good experience with him after a really shitty day. I’d give ten stars if possible

Dr. Yap is my ideal of a doctor. He was very caring and thorough in his analysis of my problem and acted quickly to order lab, exray an ultrsound and mri. He followed up my visit with a phone call to my home after the results and prescribed needed medications with suggestions to relieve my pain beyond just medication. He took his time in his exam and I felt he truly cared about me and my problem. He has a great sense of humor and listens. Subsequently my problem is much better. At the follow-up appointment he updated medications and had many suggestions to help me improve continuing on. He helped me select a change in my primary care doctor and how to proceed with that. The only disappointment is he will be leaving the practice to teach doctors in family medicine. There is no one better qualified for that than Doctor Yap.
