John's Rooter & Plumbing: 5-Star Service for a Clogged Drain!

Our kitchen sink was completely backed up, and after trying everything I could think of, I was at my wit's end. Thankfully, I called John's Rooter & Plumbing! They were incredibly responsive and sent out a technician, the very next day. He was professional, courteous, and quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained the options clearly and got to work immediately. He was efficient, clean, and had the drain flowing freely in no time! The price was fair and reasonable, especially considering the fast and effective service. I highly recommend John's Rooter & Plumbing for any drain cleaning needs. They're lifesavers!

When I suspected I needed professional help for my main drain (roots), the whole process to find a professional service stressed me the most. Knowing that this work was going to be expensive, at least I wanted to have a job well done from a company you can trust. I am SO SATISFIED with the work John and his crew from Rooter Drain Expert did on my house that I do recommend them WITHOUT HESITATION. These guys are true professionals in every aspect. They know their job well and they performed it just as described. John explained every step taken, I could see they use good quality materials, they finish the job within the time frame promised; even after something not planned came up, they finish on time (staying one day up to 10 pm). The equipment they use is impressive, it helped to have the job done without interrupting our water or drain lines in three days (we only cut these services for about 3 to 4 hrs.). The pictures show it was not a small job; yet, they did not disrupt our home during all this time. I am more than satisfied with John but also thankful. I feel very confident the job was well done and I won’t have issues with it in the future. I can say now I do have a plumber.

I highly suggest you call up John’s rooter and plumbing when you need a pro to save the day. I was really impressed with their service. Although it took a while to figure out the actual layout of pipes and drains around and outside of my home that was built in the 50’s. I was happy to schedule the same day and have it fixed the same day. Great service all the way!

5 stars is not enough!

We needed a bid for an eventual sewer replacement. John and his team came highly recommended by our regular plumber. (Our regular plumber had recommended this repair in 2014 and we had failed to act on that recommendation.)
While running the camera John was happy to explain what I was seeing on the video, and how the sensor worked. He encouraged my questions and spoke knowledgeably about potential challenges.
Turned out the whole thing was a challenge. My sewer was still about 95% terracotta pipes that were installed in the 1920's, and I'm on a fairly steep hill. Additionally, John informed me that over his 22 years of doing this he had only seen 2 houses with a sewer in this state of disrepair----and mine just knocked the other one out of first place. My "bid" quickly became a critical issue. I realize this sounds like a cliche set up for a con so I am posting photos of the pipes as they were.

The project was a big one and we knew it was going to be a financial investment. John was transparent about the cost and we actually found his price to be competitive with what neighbors had paid.

When I was at home John would call me out to check out the video or inspect pieces of broken pipe and would explain what the next steps were.
They finished the project in the anticipated time frame, CLEANED UP EVERYTHING, and did a beautiful job replacing the concrete that had to be removed.
One of John's team members, Manny, was super patient with my 7 year old while she "supervised."

Honestly, I could not have been happier with the whole process. The whole team is kind, communicative, and conscientious.

John is a small business owner and I am pleased to support him.

(My only suggestion for change would be the company name. While it is descriptive and accurate, it is really hard to find them using a Google search.)

After having several plumbers come out to my house and couldn’t find the root cause of the reoccurring clogs in my main sewer line, and after being told different things by different plumbers, I stumbled upon John’s rooter on Google. John came out and was able to diagnose the issue right away, using his snake camera, he found that the sewer line was broken and needed to be replaced. He gave honest information and knew the issue and said my house sewage pipe were the infamous orangeburg “cardboard” pipes when the house was built in 1956. After digging up my yard he showed me exactly where the break in the line was and every step he did to replace it. He also saved my palm trees by rerouting the new line away from the tree roots so that the palm trees don’t affect the new line. He and his sons installed that new modern sewer line within a day and a half and didn’t disrupt our water usage because they fixed it really fast and even did a temporary connection overnight before finishing the next morning. When John first explained the issue I was a little hesitant as had a distrust working with a couple previous plumbers but after working with him I understood John is a really honest and knowledgeable man of his trade. Thankful he came out and resolved our issue for good. He also gave a 5 year warranty and told us we shouldn’t have issues for years to come. He even inspected the rest of my house pipes and determined everything else was in good condition. I will definitely recommend him to people for his honesty and expertise.
