The best ever consultant physician visit

I attended my first office visit here. Lisa immediately greeted us in reception with a smile took our information was very pleasant and efficient. Within five minutes we were called back and Bobbi, the medical assistant , was very pleasant ,took more info and then the doctor came in.He was knowledgeable, pleasant, face-to-face, performing the most thorough examination regarding neurology we have ever seen. He spent at least 30 minutes with us explaining the condition and each treatment and let us decide with him of course which ones we chose to pursue. Then he ordered laboratory and further tests explaining what he was doing making sure we understood, explaining other appointments that would be made in the future. Jada then checked us out and gave us the lab slips and further appointment information smiling and pleasant. Of all the medical care we have received over 40 years this was over the top. We highly recommend Dr. John Sullivan and his office staff for any neurological needs.

I would suggest that anyone seeking care from Dr. John P.
Sullivan read this review. I just received a letter from Dr. Sullivan informing me that he would no longer provide me with neurological care due to "non-compliance." This follows months of referrals to other specialists at Dr. Sullivan's behest over several months. The crux of the matter was my questioning the predicate for a referral. Unbeknownst to to Dr. Sullivan, I had decided to follow through on the referral, as I felt there was another reason to see the doctor to whom he referred me. That doctor, however, was not in network for my insurance and I was in the process of trying to identify one with that specialty who was. Dr. Sullivan never told me that my care would be terminated if I did not see this specialist. To terminate my care without discussing it, when I am unaware how that would affect other referrals he had given me, leaves all aspects of my neurological care in a state of flux. This occurs at a time when my ongoing care is at a crucial stage. This is not the kind of communication I would want if I were considering a doctor.

I read so many positives about Dr Sullivan until I tried to call for an appt had to listen to recordings for 25 mins. That's a disgrace my wife needs help and no way to reach the Dr or someone to schedule an appt. How do u claim to help people

Dr. Sullivan and associates are extremely professional, well organized and welcoming to their patients as if we're family.
Dr. Sullivan is above and beyond other specialists I have seen and I'm more confident than ever he can solve my dilemma. His staff even arranged future appointments and locations I need to go to. Very impressed.

Outstanding care. Dr Sullivan has great bedside manners. He listened patiently and answered all my questions. His staff is professional and efficient. No nonsense. I had an initial consultation, exam, and post exam meeting all in only one visit- all on time. That’s unheard of and should be the standard.

Dr. Sullivan was very knowledgeable and spent at least 45 minutes or so reviewing my previous records because it was my first visit with him.
I never experienced such thoroughness in all the years from any of my husband’s or my physicians.

I would highly recommend Dr Sullivan and Florida Neurology Group. They are caring, compassionate and easy to work with. The patient portal makes communication, accessing your test results, up coming appointments and info very easy.
I had recently had an uncomfortable text to take and Dr Sullivan was kind, patient and caring. Thank you! The entire staff is amazing. As someone with complex issues I’m so thankful Chris Kaiser thinks outside the box and at different angles.

I was thoroughly impressed with the practice from the time I stepped through the door till I left. Everyone was friendly, very accommodating and put you at ease. Dr. Sullivan was very nice, and took his time to go through all my tests and explained them in great detail to my understanding. He was very reassuring. Will definitely recomend him to anyone who asks for a neurologist.
