I recently employed JGR Construction to replace my redwood patio arbor. From the offset, I was very impressed with Jorge's approach. He came on the same day as I made the enquiry to see the project. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable, proposing a few options and showing me examples of the work the company had undertaken. I felt immediately at ease and had confidence in him.

Jorge's professionalism continued - he was prompt in supplying an estimate (which was extremely competitive) and then followed up by telephone to answer my questions. He didn't keep me waiting when I contracted him to undertake the work.

Throughout the project Jorge's team reflected his approach - they were punctual, polite, professional and very hard working. As with any large scale project, I had to make a couple of unforeseen decisions but Jorge guided me through the options, conscious of my budget and came up with solutions. On the last day of the project, we had heavy rain and it was impossible for them to complete the work. I knew that Jorge's team were booked on another large project the next day, but he organised things to ensure that my job was completed before they moved on.

My new redwood arbor is a beautiful addition to my patio and I am very impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of JGR Construction's work. Some may say that should be expected, but what I didn't anticipate (compared with other contractors) was the level of honesty and professionalism I experienced working with Jorge and his team. He always did exactly what he said he would, he was reliable, he was committed to doing the best possible job, he went the extra mile when problems arose to provide solutions, and ... he is a thoroughly nice guy!

I would not hesitate to employ JGR Construction again. Neither would I hesitate to offer the highest possible recommendation of Jorge and his team.

A couple of years ago I employed JGR Construction to redo my kitchen after another contractor did a very bad job. I was very cautious of hiring another contractor again because of what happened to the previous contractor. I was very impressed with Jorge's approach. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable, proposing a few options and showing me pictures, examples of the work the company had undertaken. He even showed me 3D illustrations of how my kitchen was going to look like after it’s done. He seemed very confident and I felt immediately at ease.

Last month, I called Jorge because the plumbing under the sink was slowly leaking and it did a lot of damage on the floor. George came a looked at it the next day and he said something needed to be replaced. I asked him how much would it cost me. Not only it was free labor but he also bought the materials with his own money. This prompted me to come to this site because I want to tell everybody that Jeorge not only does a great job but he also backs it up when something goes wrong even after years had passed.

I had recommended Jorge and his team to some of my co workers, friends, relatives to do their projects.

We went through an estimate process with Jorge on a sizable remodeling project. We didn't end up using his service because we went with someone else who we worked with before. However, Jorge's professional courtesy, passion for his work and detailed estimate left an impression on me. His quote was so detailed that it helped us think of some of the items that we had previously missed in our planning and budget. I will definitely keep him in mind for future home remodeling projects.

We hired JGR to help us with drainage issues in our front yard. We knew we wanted to put in a french drain and our main goal was to have that done. Jorge came out the same day I called and did a quote and give us our options. We elected to put in a sump pump as well. The job was done very quickly (within 3 days). He even followed up to make sure everything was working correctly a few weeks later.
Overall, we are really pleased with his work. We will definitely hire him again in the future should we need some work done.

Jorge did hardscape and landscape make-over of our backyard. He is competitive and very reasonable in his quote. He finished the entire project well within the promised timeline. During the construction, Jorge and his team, were nice to work with and were mindful not to be too noisy (we had a newborn baby).

During the upgrade, we encountered several unforeseen roadblocks (our's is an old property - where the backyard was a mess of concrete, stone and gravel). Jorge was very efficient in coming up with solutions and work-arounds, keeping them within our budget.

Our backyard now, has something to offer everyone - play structure for my kids, party/BBQ outdoor entertainment gazebo for us, fireplace, and water efficient soft scape. We have received many many compliments for our backyard.

We will be using Jorge and his team in future, whenever we do upgrade in the house.
