UPDATE: it is now 1/16/25, it has been a week since I left this review and filled out the survey as per their response to this review, Dr. Stuart never reached out to me by phone or portal as promised by staff, I only got in touch with someone else by their office who wasn't apologetic at all about the whole situation. No one from Baycare still has explained to me a lick of what my results mean. Awful physician and awful office, I cannot recommend either to anyone. Worst experience I've had thus far with primary care.

I will say this, my very first visit with Dr Stuart wnt fine, I didn't have any complaints, however, a month later I received a notification in the mail that one of my lab results was abnormal. By the time I got a hold of the letter it was in the evening so I waited until the next day to call the office, no one answered so I left a voicemail as well as sent her a message on the portal. Someone from the office called me later asking me what questions I have, and I am calmly asking what these results mean and if I should be concerned and she just coldly brushed me off that I will just be referred to a specialist and they cannot help me and didn't answer a single one of my questions whatsoever; at the end of the call she had the nerve to ask once again what questions I had and I am at this point in tears, I've already been anxious to understand what these results meant and how concerned I should be since I it has always come back in the past negative and now suddenly I test positive for this test. So now only because I am in tears she says the doctor will either call me or reach out in the portal by the end of the day or the following day. That has not happened, it is now the weekend so I will not hear until Monday or most likely not at all. I am extremely disappointed in this entire interaction and how it was all handled, no patient should be left to themselves with abnormal results or be treated this way.
I understand that things will need to be handled by a specialist for further evaluation, but a minimum of explanation or reassurance should be given. Now I am left with just google, many questions, and probably unnecessary anxiety and worry until this specialist will be able to start answering my questions and relieve me from my worry which will not happen for another 3 weeks. It is sad what the health system has come down to and my experience with her office is a reflection of such.

I always appreciate the personalized attention and care provided by Dr. Stuart. She is always kind, never makes me feel rushed. Additionally, she offers and discusses recommendations that benefit my health. I also love the 7am time slot. Thanks Dr. Jennifer!

It’s not very often you switch to a new primary and immediately feel heard and understood. Let’s face it corporate healthcare isn’t known for its personal touch but Dr. Stewart does just that. Im hardwired to the get in and out method during Dr visits as typically Dr offices are always rushed. Jennifer took her time to hear me and my concerns and actually doubled down on if there was any other concerns (my list was relatively long as it’s been a while since my last check up)I was given complete transparency by Dr. Stewart and attention.
The communication method with Baycare in general is not easy but patience is a virtue and you can’t expect a call back in 2 minutes like back in the day. I highly recommend her as a pcp if you truly want someone who cares about your well being.

Being in the medical field I know my mom is a difficult patient. Dr. Stuart and the staff are very good with her. My mom wasn't having a good morning prior to her visit. but Dr. Stuart and the staff remained calm with her. By staying calm it helped ease tension. Everyone was empathetic and understood her perspective and showed compassion. Dr. Stuart helped my mom feel relaxed and comfortable. As a difficult patient it can be challenging to treat the patient with respect and this was displayed by staff my mom encountered during her visit when my mom was intermittently agitated. Throughout her exam Dr. Stuart showed dignity and respect to my mom even if though she was being difficult. I am grateful that my mom has a great primary physician like Dr. Stuart.
