Our family was under contract to purchase a lot in a JBJ Companies development when we experienced a very unexpected setback just two days prior to closing. Scott and Cindy could not have been more gracious in working with us on a solution. They communicated with warmth and timeliness throughout the process. We would not hesitate to work with them again and highly recommend them to other families.

Unfortunately we renewed for a 2nd year with JBJ at Saxony Village, these apartments/buildings are only 4 to 6 years old and we had to have our kitchen sink fixed 5 times before they actually tried to make a proper repair, we will see if it lasts. The first time it caved in to the cabinet below the maintenance person said this was at least the 10th one to have this happen, these are considered luxury apartments. The only luxury are the stainless steel appliance's that are Whirlpool which is crappy.

Recently our underground parking spot there is a pipe leaking on my wife's vehicle, when the property manager got there it had stopped, I am not sure if maintenance actually showed up, but I can guarantee they didn't do anything of substance, when I asked for 10 or 12 credit for a carwash since it was very recently washed they declined because it was not an ongoing issue/emergency. now about a week and a half later it started leaking again even more. JBJ's solution "you can move your car". Then when I raised my voice due to the lunacy I was told they were going to hang up if I was going to yell. There is clearly a bigger problem somewhere in the pipe going through the floor and/or in the apartment above, but they have proven time and time again, that unless it is flooding the parking garage it isn't an actual problem.

The sad part is that the lease does not require them to do anything reasonable to repair unless it is causing harm or damage or making the premises untenantable. The other problem that any other property that is potentially any better is also owned by JBJ and/or more expensive. $2,000 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment shouldn't come with these types of problems and headaches.

I will never rent from them again and I don't advise anyone else every renting from them. I would rather live on the streets.

I have lived at the Saxony Village apartments in Germantown just over 2 years. I am extremely happy living here. The grounds look amazing and well kept up, JBJ & the maintenance staff are very receptive and have responded almost immediately to any need. Any dealings with Bailee & Stacey have been professional and pleasant. The fact that tenants are able to have cats and dogs at this location is an added plus. They even provide the bags and cannisters for picking up and disposing of your dogs waste along the path behind the buildings.
One drawback.........I wish it had a pool. 😉

I've had 2 maintenance issues since living in a JBJ property, and both were resolved the same day. I sent a request at 5 am. when my water heater went out and it was replaced before noon. The exterior property is well maintained, and yearly carpet cleaning is included. They're also relatively strict with tenant conduct, but I consider that a plus. Would definitely recommend if you want an adult place to live.

I have to say the moment we moved in has been a very terrible experience and I would not recommend these rentals. I have had to submit countless maintenance requests for things that need to be fixed and this was supposed to be brand new apartments. The windows in my daughters room still didn't close properly and was always freezing. Since we have wanted to move out there has been an additional fee to everything and when we requested for an early termination, they agree to look for new tenants. When new ones were found they sent an agreement we signed it sent it back and never heard anything then i have had to call several times to learn the termination date has been moved back due to the new tenants pushing back the move in date and now we are held responsible. Everything is laid out so they do not have to pay anything, be careful with agreements and they are very rude on the phone when you call the main number and try to voice when they are in the wrong. My old place was at the Saxony Village Apt in Germantown. The only good things was Connie in the mgr office, she was great.

One of the worst move in and out experiences of my life. When we moved in our carpets were still soaking wet to the point the movers actually refused to bring some of the things upstairs because of the slip hazard. As the carpets dried spots started to resurface and we realized these were very old carpets. We had already sent our walkthrough in so I called and was assured it would be noted for us. Throughout our time there we had noise, neighbors who smoked outside our window, horrible heat upstairs with no way to cool it, this constant beeping outside year round (we never did figure it out). When we finally moved out we cleaned the place top to bottom. It was move in ready. When we received hardly any deposit back and saw it had been taken out for carpets I nearly lost it. The response I received back was rude and accusatory. It wasn't worth fighting. I would never recommend anyone rent from such a petty and greedy company. Terrible.

I have been a resident at Saxony Village apartments in Germantown for 2 years and have loved it. I previously lived in The Seasons in Sussex( another JBJ Property). The staff has always been very helpful with any questions or concerns. My apartments was brand new when I moved in to it 2 years ago. The underground parking is great. The apartment is beautiful with granite counter tops, self closing kitchen drawers & cabinets, stainless appliances, keyless entry, large walk in closets and beautiful floors. Having full washer and dryer in the apartment is very convenient. Their community room is great for hosting parties or hanging out with pool and foosball table. The outdoor grills are handy. The only reason that I'm leaving is because I'm moving in to a condo. The office staff especially Connie is very friendly and professional.

Haven't moved in yet but so far absolutely amazing! Ronda, Connie, and Dustin worked with my boyfriend and myself to not only do a simple search to see his background check was wrong but also helped us fix the problem so we could rent with them. Took about 5 days and they held the apartment for us! So far so good. Would highly recommend all 3 of them. Sometimes all it takes is a little honesty to get the help you need.
