He came out and gave me an estimate on a Tuesday and three days later I was scheduled to have the work done. He and his team did great work and completed my porch in 1 day. We had Jaime's Custom Concrete to come out and give us an estimate to pour a driveway from our existing one at our home to the back of our property where we had built a shop. They were very prompt in coming out to give an estimate and they were very reasonably priced when compared with two other companies. We hired Jamie's team to create a concrete gate in front of our house. Jamie has three qualities that make him easy to recommend:
1) He actively uses his experience to steer you away from bad decisions. One specific example is when Jamie guided me on choosing the color of the concrete. I had an opinion, Jamie countered my opinion; and now that I have had this gate for > 2 years, Jamie was absolutely correct.
2) He demands high quality of himself and of his team. A strong example of this is when Jamie discovered that one of the gate pillars was slightly slanted. It was not immediately obvious to me, but Jamie saw it, and had his team destroy the entire pillar and rebuild it. No additional cost, and no delay to the timeline.
3) Jamie is honestly just easy to talk to. I have had experiences with construction teams where the owner is constantly pushing upgrades, or asking to be connected to your network for more clients. I get it, that's part of running a business; but it can be stressful for inexperienced clients (like me). Jamie avoids those stresses, he's just focused on you, your project, and achieving your goal.
