We have had a wonderful experience working with Marlon and his crew. They painted our primary home when we prepared to sell, and my sister’s home in between rentals and also before selling. When we had trouble finding a reasonable painter in another state we considered hiring Marlon again! Marlon is always so friendly to work with, was great with communication and pricing, and is extremely trustworthy and reliable. We were introduced to Marlon because his mother and aunt both cared for our kiddo and they are such a kind, trustworthy family, which is something so hard to find these days! Would be happy and eager to work with Marlon again.

I have worked with Marlon on several occasions. He re-did my bathrooms, painted my entire condo, and assisted with other projects around the house like removing a railing and installing lights. Marlon is very communicative, responsive, easy to work with, and his workers are all kind, respectful, and tidy. I would hire Marlon again!

We have been very impressed by the hard work, reliability, honesty, efficiency, and professionalism of Marlon and his team at J O Builder. A neighbor recommended them to us as they’d recently built his ADU. Our project consisted of a kitchen and family room remodel including replacing all the windows. Marlon, the general contractor, did an excellent job communicating with us. He did an outstanding job coordinating all the details and subcontractors as well. He kept the project moving along so it was finished on time! We truly appreciated his expertise and suggestions. Marlon is a good listener, friendly, flexible, calm, and easy to work with. Everyone on his team was knowledgeable, skilled, and great to work with as well. We value their attention to detail and making sure we were satisfied. It definitely made the remodel less stressful. We are in the middle of planning another remodeling project with his team now. Highly recommend!

Had some mystery water seeping out from under our kitchen cabinet and needed help fast. Marlon was recommended to me by our contractor and he was responsive, easy to schedule with, and his folks came to assess and then repair the situation within a week. I just had some painting done by JO Contractor in Redwood City and they did an excellent job. Also did some wall work and they were very good at that leaving hardly any mess at all and matching all the walls with the right paints etc. Really nice guys and very reliable and very efficient, I have already used them a couple of times and will certainly call them again when I need some work.
