Jean Kruzan is not someone you do not want to do business with. Jean Kruzan tore my kitchen out the week of Memorial Day. Jean did not come back for 2 weeks to start the project. Why tear it out if you're not coming back for 2 weeks. My kitchen island is on an angle, the ends are not the same length. My island stone people asked her to fix it and she refused. I had to sign off with the stone people for them to install like that. 2 of my cabinets hit when you open them, and my dish washer is on a slight angle and doesn't always close correctly and is visibly on an angle. She never finished my kitchen wall and it still has a hole right next to my hood. She refinished my floors throughout the upstairs and the finish was coming off immediately. Would not fix, only offer a $3000 credit and the floors cost $7000. They need to be all refinished. They splashed grey stain on my newly white painted walls. She started installing a staircase that wasn't what I asked for. It was honey oak and my floors were a grey wash. Jean Kruzan got mad because I wanted the correct Railings and newel posts. Jean walked off the job that day because she didnt want to do the correct color and didnt come back or answer calls for 3 weeks. Jean never fixed the staircase and we had 2x4s and it was very dangerous for us and my granddaughter (toddler) Jean didn't care... I had to beg her to finish things because she had most of the money $55,000.... Did I say how I had to pay her almost all the money or I was never getting a kitchen.
No water no cooking. nothing for 6+ months. Did not want to install any appliances even thou she was behind schedule, and they were delivered months earlier. I finally asked her to put a cheap temporary kitchen sink in on plywood, still no kitchen but we could grill and have a sink. Jean Kruzan charged me $875 for this $90 sink, then took it out and took it with her. I was super nice to her because I learned if i said something wasn't correct I may never see her again, or my money.
The downstairs flooring Jean put in is buckling but what do I expect... Don't be fooled by this woman.

Do not work with this company. They tore apart my house last January and when the flooring (which was homemade.) didn't fit her and her Nephew's ( who now owns the business.) timeline she just pointed the finger at us. The amount of overages on the project was astronomical. This company is too used to working on remodeling homes for people who have the extra money to absorb it. They then just quit answering calls and or emails. We found items that she said they would warranty and yet never did. Her nephew bought the business and she put all the blame on us and directly told us that she was using our house as a teaching lesson on how to handle business. Definitely leave this business off your list of companies to call for any project. If I could give this business a lower rating I would. Stay away from them.

Jean is a gem to work with. She is patient and listened to what I wanted to accomplish in my laundry room. She came to the house three times (once with Steve, the cabinet man) to take measurements and to tweak our plans. Steve is a wonder. We are so pleased with his work. He is a perfectionist. When Jean called to schedule one of the workers, that worker showed up on time as promised. We are already planning our next project with her. If Jean is not available, Debbie in the office is very accommodating.

It was amazing to work with J Kruzan! A kitchen that needed work came out looking incredible. The team presented 4 different ideas - all were great, but one is all we could choose. The whole experience flowed well and came in on budget! The whole team was FABULOUS to work with! before and after picture

Jean Kruzan remodeled my kitchen. She listens to what you want, like room on your countertop for a tall Vitamix blender to fit under the cabinets, and has good resources for cabinets and other materials, and excellent staff. Her projects are finished on time and at contract cost--no surprises. Not only would I recommend Jean, but I was so happy with her work I had her remodel my bathroom. My only regret I didn't have her do both bathrooms. I have confidence in Jean's work and she is a pleasure to do business with. Also, Jean is the best at communicating with insurance companies if they need to approve work and costs due to an insurance claim.

I personally have not have work done by this company but any work in the future that needs to be done, this contractor is immediately excluded. To almost be hit by one of their company vehicles being their fault and then cuss at them while representing their company is extremely disrespectful, unprofessional, and showcases an incompetence to these qualities. If you want a reputable, professional and respectful contractor, give Bolser Built LLC a call. They'll take great care of you as a client.

When we first started the process of remodeling our house, we truly didn’t have a set plan. Jean spent many hours getting to know us before we even signed a contract with her. She broke the process into manageable chunks, allowing us to take time to make decisions. Jean even joined us as we shopped for our kitchen, our lights, our sink, and our granite. From beginning to end, my basement finishing project was smooth sailing. Jean and I met, discussed and planned what I wanted. Where I wasn’t sure of which way to go on a feature, she helped me look at pros and cons so I could make an educated decision. Her crew is talented, professional, timely, and considerate! From my custom barn doors to my “invisible” doors to the furnace room I love my lower level!!!! J Kruzan Construction can’t be beat!
