I'm not sure about anyone else's experience, but they did meet my standards. Started off great, but then they disappeared. I cannot recommend them. Both Pourya and Pedram would not supply an engineering sketch, other than one that was scribbled out on a piece of scrap paper. They said they would come out to meet the contractor, no extra charge, but then the office said no. They ghosted me when I texted and won't answer calls, just goes to voicemail and says "mailbox is full." Very upset with what I consider a lack of professionalism.

After a nightmarish experience with a crooked contractor, I was left on my own to obtain plans and a permit for my unfinished deck. Their structural engineer Pedram has been nothing short of amazing. He came to my property to verify measurements and make sure the drawings would meet code, spent a great deal of time observing structures and pointing out everything that needed to be fixed for safety reasons, offered alternatives to costly fixes, then worked quickly to draw plans. He even called the city's building department and got everything resolved on the spot. Five minutes after his call, my permit was approved! And through all this, Pedram was friendly and empathetic. Everyone in that office has been very nice as well. I will definitely use ISTA again for all future projects.
