I’m doing another review of Dr Chambi here. My first was on yelp 2 weeks ago.

Dr Chambi and his Office have been so refreshing to work with. My back injury goes back 8 years and because it was being treated through workers compensation I can tell you it has been not been a smooth or simple process. I have had confusing, frustrating, and heart wrenching experiences with seeking treatment and answers.

Dr Chambi and his team took the time to hear my story. This included the roller coaster of the past 8 years. Dr Chambi and Israel, the main office admin, are very knowledgeable of the workers compensation process in California and their treatment reflected that. It was very clear to me what we were doing and why it was done in a particular manner. I left every appointment confident and encouraged by Dr Chambi and Israel.

I’m currently recovering from a lumbar discectomy that Dr Chambi performed and I can thankful say that it has changed my life. I am grateful to have Dr Chambi and his team looking after me.

In case this might help anyone….DO NOT SEE DR ISREAL CHAMBI. My grandfather had brain cancer and passed away and we came to find out that CHAMBI was performing unnecessary surgeries on him. Please research his name before proceeding to see him. You’ll find numerous articles and lawsuits on CHAMBI talking about his medical malpractice and how performed unnecessary surgeries on other patients as well. He was literally suspended but fought the board to get his license back!! It is insane to me that he is still practicing medicine. Please be weary of this doctor, help yourself or your loved ones by seeing literally anyone else!

My father was a patient of Dr. Israel Chambi 15 years ago. We had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Chambi and his excellent staff.
Dr. Chambi treats his patients with respect and kindness, he is very compassionate and explains everything very well to his patients and treats his patients like family. He and his staff make you feel welcome.
Dr. Chambi likes to get to know his patients. One of the best Doctors we have ever met.

Dr. Chambi performed L2/L3 back surgery. Everything went well. Inserted a spacer. Minimal pain. He is a wonderful surgeon.

This “doctor” killed my father by preforming unnecessary brain surgeries after he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
During my dad’s last procedure the “medical assistants” put the breathing tube in his stomach. They did not discover their mistake until several minutes past.
My dad never woke up from the coma they put him in.
Dr. Chambi removed the power of attorney status from my sister and mother by deeming them too emotional to make rational decisions. He then told my uncles that the best thing for their brother was to remove him from life support as soon as possible and to cremate the body…therefore there would be no evidence of wrong doing.

Dr Chambi is extremely knowledgeable. He is kind & compassionate. He takes time with his patients, treating us like family members & explains in detail what tests show & his recommendation. I have been his patient for over 20 years. He performed a much needed neck surgery on me in 2003 & I have been thankful ever since. He just helped a fam member of mine who desperately needed back surgery & he is like a new person. Dr Chambi has a gift & I am grateful he is my doctor.

If there was a negative star that's what I would have put.
I had a horrible experience with chambi. I am still going through alot after surgery.
Do your own research before going under his hands.

I had a two level fusion C4-5 and c5-6. I woke up feeling great. I did not have to take pain meds. Went home With in 24 hours. All my modalities were given to me the day of surgery. With in 3 days I was back to my normal routine, with the exception of lifting heavy objects. Dr. Chambi will listen to your concerns. WHen I asked to do Aqua therapy, he agreed immediately, and that has allowed me to recover at a quicker pace. Dr. Chambi 's staff is exceptionally fabulous. When ever I am waiting in the lobby I can over hear the other patient stating that they have be seeing dr. Chambi for many many years, and states that dr. Chambi is the reason why she is able to move and have her life back.
