I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and transparency at Immediate Care Medical Walk-In of East Windsor.

This afternoon, I called ahead to confirm that my father-in-law’s travel insurance would be accepted for his visit. I was assured by the staff that it would be, and based on this confirmation, my wife took him in for care. However, when they arrived at the clinic, they were not told anything, however after waiting for more than an hour, they were told that the insurance would not be accepted, and they charged the visit fees without providing any explanation or justification.

This type of misinformation and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. It’s incredibly frustrating to have been misled by their staff, especially when the insurance details were clearly provided in advance. Not only was the situation handled poorly, but it also resulted in unnecessary charges for my family.

I strongly urge Immediate Urgent Care to improve their communication and staff training to ensure such situations do not occur in the future. I will be seeking alternatives for any future medical needs.

Avoid this clinic if you want reliable service.

Yes, this is urgent care is in network with the VA and knew to call the VA for the billing code. The receptionist working today was very thoughtful, helpful and knowledgeable regarding the process, my concerns and injuries.

Walked in at 7:30 they said they will not see the patient as they close at 8. Not sure why they are even ‘open’ till 8. Wasted our time when we could have gone to another one willing to see us. The CVS pharmacist was more helpful than them. Do not recommend.

The staff were extremely kind and professional, providing attentive care. The front desk and medical team were both welcoming and efficient. The doctor took the time to explain everything clearly and advise the course of action.

The facility is run as if technology does not exist. Made an appointment online, only to be told when I arrived that it's first come, first serve and appointments don't matter. Registered for the appointment by filling out a slip of paper. The hair cutting place in the same complex does a better job managing appointments and walk ins. I feel bad for the staff that they have to work here and input information filled out on paper forms, when registration can be done through a phone or tablet. One bright side, the staff were very nice. Atlantic Health is a decent sized health system, things should be better than this. Extremely disappointed, won't be coming back again.

On Sat 1/18/25 my mom was in need of urgent care. She chose Atlantic Health Urgicenter
319 US 130 E.Windsor
due to its proximity to home. I accompanied her. From start to finish we were so impressed and grateful for the professionalism, patience and respect shown, not only to my mom but to all who entered.
The receptionist was proficient, the nursing asst, KJ was thorough and kind and Kristen Connors, APN, went above and beyond.
Kristen is a wealth of good, sensible knowledge. My mom left there feeling so much better.
Thank you all for your teamwork. Teamwork is a rare commodity these days. Keep up the good work. It means alot to a person who is not feeling well.

I was in today 8/3 around 8:40 am. I'm glad I did not read the reviews before making an appointment. The 2 women at the front desk were so rude and dismissive..irritated that my arrival and presence was interrupting their personal chatter. How many reviews do you have to read before you take action? The assistant and NP gave me great care, assessing my symptoms, tests and a treatment plan. Please do something about your front desk staff.

So this urgent care allows appointments to be made online, but upon arriving early (as instructed via email), I was told the appointment doesn’t matter. It’s only so you can get forms online. I’m sorry? So there is an entire schedule of available APPOINTMENTS online, it confirms with you via email and text, says arrive 15 minutes early and is absolutely meaningless. Some people have jobs and we schedule this around that, with the expectation that when you offer an appointment, that’s what it’s for. And the front desk staff is rude.
