Giving out wrong information, thinks she's qualified to troubleshoot garage doors meanwhile she got my warranty voided because the garage door company said because I messed with the sensors (she told me to!) they don't know what I did therefore my warranty on this piece of garbage has been voided. Next time stick to your day job!!!! These people do whatever they can to get out of warranty claims. Then she lied in her email reply and said that I canceled the warranty ticket. I cancelled back in April because the issue resolved itself. I didn't cancel this ticket. The same issue occurred again that's the reason I followed up with warranty.

Second home purchase with Horizon View, and it has been the worst experience. We had submitted several warranty issues and has to fight to get done. Which multiple issues were not completely fixed. The roof was installed incorrectly, which caused two leaks. There are multiple holes in the shingles, and the warranty rep said it is past our time frame. If you are looking to purchase something, please have it inspected because they will not fix anything.

Lacking on warranty issues. Will not follow up or make up excuses not to fix items. Don't follow their own policy. Not worth it. Continue to have issues. 3 months passed my one year and they still haven't fixed and did final walk through.

2019 still having warranty issues. I have items even on there paperwork to have them fix and they still wont. Lesson learn. Find a different home builder. Watch out. Smooth talkers.

I am a new owner of an Imperial model. It is a beautiful home, and I receive compliments on it regularly. The construction super for the neighborhood is a good guy to deal with and has kept his word for the most part. That is generally where my positive experiences with Horizon stops, and talking to all of my neighbors will net you the same experience.

The customer service at the sales level was lacking. The salesman was pretty poor at giving us reliable expectations of the build process. Our home was eventually delayed over two months, and due to not being given real expectations, we were left a little high and dry with our own living conditions.

Construction on the home is pretty poor. Drywall is truly awful, as well as interior trim and exterior siding. The issues are so bad, we are afraid to ask for them to be fixed because they may come out even worse. The HVAC system installed is also very poor and pushes little to no air, hot or cold, to the upstairs. In the Imperial, this is where all of the bedrooms are, and it leaves our whole family feeling quite uncomfortable in anything but 60* weather.

We have not filed our first set of warranty paperwork as we are still (2 months in) waiting for our final walkthrough objections to be fixed. Talking to many of our neighbors has made us realize that this is just SOP for Horizon.

If you want anything done, you need to go above your salesman. Ours gave us the run around quite often on any issue, so we started calling his boss and suddenly things were quickly getting taken care of.

I would not tell a prospective buyer to look elsewhere, because again, Horizon does build beautiful homes in nice neighborhoods full of nice people. I would tell them to hire their own independent home inspector (like we did), get contact numbers for the managers, and set low expectations for the company. Hopefully, when all is said and done, the end product is a good home.

We had a great experience with Horizon View Homes in Greeley. Their entire team was extremely helpful throughout the process, specifically their Sales Coordinator, Tom. Everything we mentioned or asked about was addressed quickly and without hassle. We cannot thank the Horizon team enough for helping us get into our new home!

We absolutely love our new home in the raindance subdivision! We went in knowing the expectations of the process and what can possibly happen during a build, and nothing was out of the ordinary for a new home build.
Rhonda was excellent at communicating every step along the way. Even late at night texts or follow up emails, she always responded promptly. You can tell she truly cares and respected our thoughts and emotions throughout the process.
James stepped in later in the process as our super, and was very relaxed, knowledgeable, and stayed on top of things in a timely matter. He’s a very like-able guy, and I’m sure that helps with the entire teams/subs communication. Any questions or concerns we emailed them with, they were all on it right away.
It was really nice to have been able to upgrade to a hood in the kitchen and mix and match countertops for options. Our backsplash looks amazing, and I think our home looks custom in lots of ways! The overall craftsmanship is great, and we are very happy so far living in our home for the first month.

You work your life away to finally buy the home of your dreams. Then 4 months after I moved in we have major settling issues where all the dirt under the driveway washes away and all the expansion joints have cracked and separated and I have a massive sinkhole in my front yard along with big cracks in my front patio. Oh and can't forget about the drainage issues on the side of my house where water pools up and my brand new $2000 fence now has sunk. I contact the warranty department and they want to put a bandaid on it just so they can buy time until my warranty runs out. It's now been 2 months since I contacted the warranty department and nothing has been fixed. DO NOT BUY FROM HORIZON VIEW HOMES. they are great until you close then they could care less about the customer. The homes look great but upon further inspection they are horrible builds. There drywallers are the worst I've seen. Texture doesn't match in numerous places and you can see almost every joint. There tile guys stuck too. The grout looks like it was done by a 3rd grader. Stay away from these builders. There is plenty other good builders around.
