They started out great. Did a great job on our septic system, but left us with a mess on our driveway and left huge trees that were supposed to be taken away. They did not complete the Contract and then billed us 4 months later for work that was not performed. We have had to buy 40lbs bags of gravel so we could get in and out of our driveway. My husband ended up in the ER for 6 days due to nose bleeds caused by the repetitive lifting of these heavy bags. We are now threatened with Small Claims Court as we won't pay them for work not completed. Watch your bill close and make sure they actually do the work that they were contracted for.

Ordered a couple dump truck loads of material for a landscaping job. The lady in dispatch was awesome to deal with and the truck drivers did a great job. Price was where it should be. I would highly recommend.

Hopkins is a staple business in the area. Prompt response time with reasonable and fair pricing. We have been really happy with the work completed from start to finish with the jobs we’ve had done. Friendly employees that do great work!

Even though my projects are relatively small, I still want them done well, with expertise, and within my budget. I have found over the years that I can always rely on Hopkins to come through on all counts.

Poor quality aggregate at high prices. I can guarantee you that these 'dirt merchants' have low quality product that has not been tested for quality in a certified facility. Look elsewhere if you want a reliable and true quality product. From the looks of the more recent reviews, it's time for Hopkins to hang it up as they don't provide a quality experience for either their customers or employees. Shame.

I don't usually write on these review postings, but I have to say Thank you to everyone at the Hopkin's Webster location. I have had Hopkins do many services for me over the past few years and especially this year. A special thanks to Jim D, and the operators Big Jim, Dave, Eric, and Justin. Hopkin's sand and gravel helped my wife and I have a dream come true with the work and landscaping they provided this summer, and past summer. Thank you all again. Larry B.
