If I could give Jeff and his crew 100 stars, I would. We have a small 70 year old family cabin, built in 3 stages, that was on the verge of collapse. Contractors were called, the general consensus was it needed to not be gutted, but torn down and replaced. Basically irreparable and a waste of money. Jeff came buy numerous times to explore different options, the problem was most family members wanted it saved for sentimental reasons (goes back 6 generations), AND we had an extremely limited budget. Jeff came up with a plan and decided to give it a shot. Not only did he come in on time move-in ready, but facing multiple challenges came in at budget. Communication was outstanding throughout, not and easy thing as trustee is in North Carolina, I am in Georgia, and many family members in Illinois, Ohio, etc. From returning initial phone calls to weekly and sometimes daily phone calls, he addressed all issues. Quality...again, amazing!! They had to replace everything...roof, rafters, siding, walls, jack foundation, windows, doors, plumbing, electrical, ceilings, move interior walls, address mold and rot issues. AND, try to maintain original feel of building. Nothing was flush, level, squared, or plumb. They did it ALL in spades. Can bang on ceiling and jump on floors. Installed fabulous new flooring, cupboards, closets, shelves, trim, electric fireplace with gorgeous stone surround, on and on. They kept as many original features and repurposed for sentiment sake. Should have filmed the whole thing, could have been Maine Cabin Builders in Wisconsin. Professional, friendly, and a high level of integrity. If you haven't guessed, I would HIGHLY recommend. Only wish they built internet towers here so I could post pics! Guaranteed they would do a great job at that, too. Kudos and many thanks to Jeff and his crew!!!
