Dr. Lam and his office were exceptional from beginning to end.

Check-in was easy. Both staff members at the front desk were kind, helpful and welcoming.

Dr. Lam and his office staff were so kind and accommodating. They fit me into their schedule last minute and although they were squeezing me in, Dr. Lam made me feel so well taken care of. He is attentive and insightful. He really deserves all of the wonderful reviews that are written about him.

Two weeks ago, my son's ear began to hurt. After several visits to our pediatrician, and being prescribed some antibiotics, the infection worsened quite a lot and we finally decided to seek more professional help from an ENT.

I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Lam in our network of providers that carried our insurance. We were able to schedule an appointment quickly and easily. The admin even made sure we were aware what our out-of-pocket costs would be before confirming the appointment so that we wouldn't be surprised or feel blind-sided. Btw, it was under $90 for the visit out-of-pocket.

When we finally met with Dr. Lam, he immediately went to work and though my son was in agonizing pain whenever his ear was touched, Dr. Lam was deliberate, quick and didn't waste any motions. He understood that my son was in pain and sympathized but he also understood that the quicker he acted, the quicker the ordeal would be over and the healing could start to begin. He had to clean out the infectious liquid in my son's ear, and because it was so swollen shut, he had to put a sponge in his ear canal. Though it took about ten minutes to get through all of this, when my son left the office, he immediately began to feel better. It could have been the rush of serotonin that might've been released from the excruciating pain he just endured or perhaps because he could also hear better now from the infected ear, but it was definitely a positive step in the right direction and gave me some peace of mind.

My son took the medication prescribed by Dr. Lam and as the ear infection was dwindling down and looked like recovery was just a day away, my son woke up and complained his other ear started to hurt. Oh boy.

I immediately reached out to Dr. Lam's office and we were back meeting with him shortly thereafter. He confirmed that the other ear was also infected and was starting to see heavy swelling. Fortunately, we were catching it early and he prescribed some medication, while also inserting a sponge to ensure that the meds would work.

It's now been about 5 days since our visit, taking the prescribed meds and my son is finally back to normal.

I don't really take the time to write reviews, as you'll probably see in my other reviews, unless there is a dire need due to horrible service or if the situation warrants it because of such exceptional service. Dr. Lam is quite obviously the latter. He is extremely professional, quick and intelligent in diagnosing and effectively executing whatever is needed to immediately start resolving the problem. I even told him that I was experiencing more than usual water logging in my ears when swimming. He took out his stethoscope and took a quick look in my ears and said my ear canal looked in great shape, and further explained that age causes the canals to change shape and that could sometimes result in water getting lodged easier than when we are younger.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lam to anyone who is looking for a true professional, friendly, honest and sincere ENT doctor.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Lam and his team. Dr. Lam is a consummate professional that has helped my wife and me time and time again. He really knows his fields as a doctor and is calm and funny and is always willing to help out in a pinch. I'm gone to him for everything from regular ENT procedures to consultations about facial injuries that I sustained.

Dr. Lam is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He makes you feel calm and comfortable. He is extremely knowledgeable. It is really rarity to meet a doctor who genuinely cares about you as a person. Highly recommend.

Dr Lam was extremely personal and understanding. He offered a detailed explanation of my problem and even performed a minor surgery on the spot, which was very well executed and didn’t hurt at all. He didn’t charge me for my follow up, and the staff was also very polite and helpful. Couldn’t recommend him more.
