Had a horrible experience working with Jamie Henson & Henson Handi Works. Jamie and his crew were a complete nightmare to work with, basically tore apart my home and left it unfinished for months on a project that was supposed to take 6 weeks. They had every excuse in the book. What work they did do was horrific (grout in a shower had holes and wasn’t water proofed, ruined tile with a shower door that was not approved, got paint all over ceilings, my new floors, and left holes in the wall, plumbed 3 sinks incorrectly). We eventually had to fire jamie because he wouldn’t fix the problems we had and ruined so much of our material. Because of this, I had to hire new a new contractor to fix what he ruined (costing us a fortune because we have paid jamie for so much work he never did). Whatever you do, never work with this man as he is a liar (multiple times he told me one thing and it was a complete lie) and a bully. I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy.

I am disappointed that I have to put one star to post a review. Jamie Henson is the worst contractor that we have ever worked with. He hires incapable employees that are unreliable and they make horrific mistakes with no oversight from Jamie. Eventually, we had to fire Jamie and bring in four workers to redo absolutely everything and replace many items (vanities/sinks/tile) that his crew had ruined. Jamie is great and being too busy to answer phone calls or texts unless he wants money (usually on the weekend after no work was completed during the week). He promises many great things and was never able to deliver. We made the mistake of paying him for materials that he never had delivered to the house…there’s always an excuse from Jamie.

Jamie is awesome! As a vacation rental owner in the area it is priceless to have someone trusted to fix things and take the care to leave the house as if he was never there! The first time I used Jamie was in an emergency situation where I had a roof leak and the guys at the hardware store recommended him! He answered the phone and dropped by the house that day to take a look for me! The next day himself and his team were on my roof fixing it so my guests checking in later that day would have no disruption in their stay! Since then, Jamie has fixed multiple things for our property and has taken on bigger projects, such as renovating and staining our deck and expanding the fire pit area! We’ve been very pleased with his work and his communication. He always sends photos and texts updates along the way! Thankful for his business helping my business!

Jamie and his guys are amazing!!!!! I trust him 100%. We live far away from our place in Eureka Springs and Jamie has been there taking care of our place for us. He does everything and we couldn’t be more grateful. He is so nice and easy to talk too. He understands everything and knows how to fix everything!!! We highly recommend him!!!!!!! He is a hard worker and makes this all look easy but it’s not. So happy we found him.
