Alexander rebuilt our master bedroom / bathroom and kitchen. Ended up having redo our front pergola and rear patio. He added a dog wash station which was his idea and I use it everyday now. Everything he had done was beyond what was expected. Amazing crew and just an all around amazing guy to express your ideas too. After seeing his work we have many more projects planned. Alexander couldn't be more professional and pleasant to work with. Very transparent, very responsive. He's helped us out with items big and small- from a full bathroom makeover to building me a giant custom cabinet for kids toys that came out amazing! He's also been willing to pitch in on smaller handy projects like hanging doors which is so great because its hard to find someone to do that type of work! I definitely recommend Alex.

Alexander just finished another outstanding job for us as he completed a new fence and two gates at our house. Alexander is a true professional who listens carefully to our vision of what we want, and then works with us to bring that vision to reality in the most efficient and cost-effective way. This is the third project Alexander has completed for us - in the first he turned a very dated jetted bathtub into a gorgeous walk-in tile shower complete with sliding glass barn doors, a river rock floor and a linear French drain.

He also helped us transform a dated laundry room into a modern laundry and utility room with a stacked washer dryer and plumbing for a new utility sink.

There is really nothing that Alexander cannot do…!

Two years ago we hired Hardgrove to work on our back patio. He gave us a quote and did a great job

This year I had a much bigger project with a bathroom renovation. Alex was the only person I wanted tondo this work. He made quick work of the demo and reframing of the new bath room. He kept the house clean during the process and took care of all of the permitting and inspections.

Throughout the project he checked in with us to explain where he was at and what would be coming soon. He also executed my designs perfectly and in the end we got a great new bathroom.

The project almost finished on time but moving the electrical panel took a a little longer than expected. The end result turned out great and when i do my next bathroom Alex will be doing it

Hargrove Construction recently completed a master bed/bathroom addition to our home in Fairfax. It was a big project taking many months, and I can't speak highly enough about Alexander and his team. From the very first phone call as I gathered estimates, he was the most helpful and most responsive of all the contractors I contacted. During construction, he was always available for questions and talked us through every phase of the work. He communicated clearly about the issues that came up and was transparent about extra work that needed to be done and what that would cost. We work from home, and his team, Danilo and Andrew, were a pleasure to have around, working quietly and diligently. His subcontractors, Dave Bettis (earthwork) and Charles Cole (electric) were also extremely responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. At the start, we imagined this whole process to be kind of a nightmare, but Alexander and his team made it a great experience. Most importantly, the work is quality. There were no corners cut. I have family members who are contractors, and they were very impressed with the work. I feel very lucky to have found Alexander and will be hiring him for any future work on our house.

Alexander helped us install 2 large floating shelves and completed the job perfectly. We learned the hard way from previous projects with non-licensed handymen that you may be able to save a few dollars getting something done for cheaper, but it's just not worth it. Alexander's work is beautiful and precise, and we felt that it was worth every penny. We look forward to having Alexander help us with future bigger projects!

We had a very positive experience with Alexander from the very first communication. I really appreciated how he arranged a phone call prior to his arrival to gain a good sense of the projects so he could be as productive & efficient as possible once he arrived.

Alexander completed a handful of tasks for us including various wall hangings (floating shelves, hooks, heavy shadow box), drywall patching, touch up paint, door knob replacement and switching out hard-to-reach lightbulbs in our garage.

Alexander proved to be professional, approachable, skilled, honest, and a careful listener; he clearly takes pride in his work. Needless to say, we were happy with his work and will definitely hire him again!
