INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE; RECOMMEND THESE GUYS ANY DAY! We needed engineering solutions and plans for our home renovation, particularly a structural solution for removing a 16' load-bearing wall, which held up a 40' ceiling. Talked to 5 different engineers that turned out either unreliable or unprofessional. We were referred to Greystone by a friend of ours who had used their services and was quite happy. Soheil, at Greystone, was an absolute pleasure to work with; he was professional, quite knowledgeable, delivered on time, and was an all-around nice and honest guy. He returned my call within the hour, requested specific information, examined the site soon after, and gave me a quote and a plan of action in 3 days, as promised. He continued to coordinate with the contractors to ensure that every step was executed properly, and no corners were cut. Also, not only did he provide us with a structurally sound and safe solution, accounting for every contingency, he went the extra step to ensure that the finished product looked good also. Having talked to the previous 5 people, I was told that there would be a beam that will be protruding out of the ceiling for 12", where the wall was; i.e., an eye-sore replacing an eye-sore; Soheil's plan eliminated that, giving us a flush ceiling with no trace of the wall. He far surpassed our expectations, at a very reasonable cost. We are so very grateful to him, and will reach out again for any such project, without hesitation. Thank you.

After contacting several civil engineers to consult for my project, I did not feel any of whom to be trustworthy. Sam Is the man! I needed stuctural engineering services (and eventually much more) and called several engineering firms. Of all the fims, Greystone was the only call back that day, (when i met Sam the owner), the only one to accept plans and get estimate out within 72 hours (although im not sure that's standard), and the only one who seem positively engaged with me as a customer as compared to other competitors (some highly reffered by network of trusted builders).

Im a tile contractor and although my addition was beyond my expertise I decided to draw my own plans. Upon submission to Ladbs i was informed i had to revise width of addition (a huge endeavor). Pressed for time i turned to the most solid person i had in my planning process so far (Sam from Greystone).
i asked if he could help get my plans approved from where they were (which exceeded the normal services he offers)
He agreed, fixed everything and made my time at LADBS a breeze (the only snafus were my fault) in a very tight time schedule.
Sam did to me what i aspire to to to my clients.
He defined the scope, the price, and the time line, then delivered all as promised.

I'm about to break ground and my material supplier has several technical questions regarding the Simpson hardware and other foundational issues. Sam has displayed exemplary and on the spot service with respect to my additional requests for some additional moments of his time to clarify issues on my project.
That has a lot to do with my 5 star rating...its not your price its not your sales pitch it's what you do and your follow up. thatsa big plus for me. THANK YOU SAM I WILL REFER YOU TO ALL WHO ARE LOOKING
