Wow - all I can say is we must have a different Goodno construction. He lives 3.3 miles from our jobsite - which we thought would be a benefit to our project, since it would be so easy for him to come over and be on top of things, but he is only intermittently on the job site, some subs have done some very shoddy work and I am spending a good chunk of most weekdays (away from my day job!) chasing him to fix issues, get or communicate a production schedule or trying to catch the shoddy workmanship and chase him down to get it fixed before they move on.

This has really been a disappointing engagement for us. We thought he was going to be a laidback but diligent contractor, but instead he has just been care-free, and not in a good way at all! In our opinion, a huge lack of accountability and ownership of the fact that he’s the GC and this is his job to run.

Be very, very careful selecting this company. Maybe he does a good job for his customers in Rancho Santa Fe or whatever other jobs he and his team were working on when they weren’t at our house and we were falling further and further behind schedule, but our experience has really been a huge disappointment.
