We absolutely love the house we designed with Gateway. From the design process to closing and moving in, Gateway has been great to work with. We have had the pleasure to work with Matt, Kauner and Jeff, all of which have been prompt in response, professional and friendly. The quality of this home far exceeds home builders we have used in the past. They are quick with warranty issues and keep us updated on any delays there might be. We have and will continue to recommend this company to our friends and family.

Overall, our experience with Gateway was good. I would recommend them but advise caution as they aren't perfect. Their customer service needs some refinement and the communication was very poor at times. There were many delays in the process that weren't communicated in a timely manner and expectations were not established from the beginning and especially not towards closing. Many mistakes were made that delayed closing and the company employees are not good at handling these rough situations or taking responsibility for them.
Also, make sure you review the standard house plans very closely from start to finish. They missed adding in a specific feature that is supposed to be in the standard design and now the project manager won't take responsibility for the mistake and wants us to pay the extra money for it to be fixed.
But.. with the negativity put a side, we love our home and are very happy with the end result. It was worth the extra stress and hassle.

Gateway took the time to help us find the right lot and the perfect design over the course of 2 years. They were collaborative and knowledgable and were able to take our vision of our dream house and make it a reality.

The sraff was easy to work with and were professional and courteous throughout the process.

Gateway was a great company to work with. They really listened to what we wanted and try to make our wish list happen with in our budget. We love our new home. Jeff, Kauner and Mathew were super easy and great to work with! We are considering using them when it comes time to finish the basement in the future.
