John Gagnon and Gagnon Masonry and Excavating were hired to install a slab with a 4-inch reveal around an addition which we were adding onto a home we purchased. Additionally, they were also hired to excavate around the foundation to expose the existing foundation. The addition slab is not square and has at places an 8-inch reveal and at others a 1-inch reveal. The reveal is unsightly and not square with the existing foundation. John was asked to come back and fix it and his reply was that any good carpenter could frame on the, out of square, foundation. He has ignored repeated requests to fix his poor work and the slab addition was for a garage which is slopped to the back of the garage and all the water pools against the far wall of the garage. John is a pleasant man but is not willing to stand behind or fix his poor quality workmanship
