We are very pleased with our new driveway, I had gotten 4 estimates from local companies to get our driveway done ,they all pretty much said the same thing as to what needs to be done. We chose Freedom Earthworks for 2 reasons, reasonable price and availability. Daniel and Jesus were very accessible to answer any question regarding the project with in hours if not minutes versus the other companies. The whole process went well and I would gladly recommend them to anyone needing their driveway done

TL;DR Freedom Earthworks did a fantastic job in resurrecting our severely eroded driveway approaches and culverts, all at a great price.
My family's two driveway approaches took a substantial beating over the last couple of years from the winter storms. They weren't in the best condition prior (picture crocodile skin and entire sections of asphalt gone), and upon more investigation I found that our culverts were in equally bad shape. I knew both the approaches and culverts wouldn't survive another intense storm so I researched companies in the area and came across Freedom Earthworks.
Dany, one of the co-owners, came out to assess our project. He even came back a second time at my request to walk me through the project scope and make adjustments to what I wanted. He was clear, professional, and made me feel like we would be in good hands. He also didn't make me feel pressured to say yes. I had collected quotes from 4 other businesses and Dany's quote was perfect given my budget and project scope. He also offered to work with the County on my behalf to obtain the permits necessary which I appreciated and made the process start sooner.
Dany and his team worked on this project for a total of three days and left our driveways beautiful. He encountered challenges when changing one of our culverts. He was creative with his problem-solving and communicated the circumstances and what they had to do. He found a solution without compromising the quality of work.

I would recommend Freedom Earthworks to anyone who is looking for quality work.

We had a 650 sq ft area of our driveway in the Santa Cruz Mountains that had to be replaced due to culvert replacement.Jesus,a very knowledgable and easy dude to work with,gave us a very reasonable bid.This was my 4th.I have been in construction forever and like people who come up with good ideas and have pride in their work.Danny and Chris gave more good ideas and the job came out great.We couldn't be happier with their work.you might want to give these guys a look.When we do the rest of our 400' driveway we will.

Freedom earthworks installed a new 40’ street drain line that they designed and installed. It has served us well through the past early year storms. We no longer worry about serious erosion which occurred before the new installation. They met every expectation, deadlines and were well within the lower bid they gave. I would recommend them to everyone whose looking for an honest contractor
